I have asked the oracle a series of questions re: somebody who I cannot get out of my head!
If anybody could please help me to interpret these, I would be very grateful. I am quite new to the I Ching.
The questions and answers were as follows:

1) How can I let X know that she can have me if she wants me without coming on too strong and scaring her off?
Answer: 44 no changing lines
2) How realistic is it for me to believe that X & I could fall truly in love with each other?
Answer: 64 no changing lines
3) How realistic is my ambition to one day marry X?
Answer: 22 no changing lines
4) How should I respond at this time to my feelings for X in order to move with the Tao?
Answer: 39.3 to 8

I do have some ideas about what I think these mean, but I would be very interested to know what anybody else thinks without sharing my views, because I really don't have much confidence in my interpretations.

Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks

I find three static hexes in a row to be fairly unusual. A quick response suggests that things will remain where they are for a while.

44 - Coming to Meet -- A hex very much about the dance of the sexes. Be yourself -- don't attempt to seduction by putting on a facade that will eventually crumble.

64-- It ain't over 'till it's over. The tendency is to return to a situation rather than getting clear of it. So... not wildly optimistic, but not dashing all your hopes either.

22 -- Another, stronger warning about putting on airs in an attempt to impress someone. Your ego is trying to lead the parade. Insofar as there might be a sudden bloom in the relationship, it could wither just as quickly if it's not rooted in authenticity.

39.3 - A very interesting question! 39 generally is about obstructions -- particularly obstructing attitudes. Line 3 specifically warns that you're getting distracted by externals, as if the Tao were some magic wand which can make everything perfect if you wave it in just the right manner.

8 - Holding together -- hold to the path in yourself, let others go. What is yours will come to you.

Thankyou for your thoughts. They are along the same lines as what I was thinking. I was struck by the lack of changing lines, and thought this must be significant but wasn't sure how. An absence of change makes sense.
