help understanding 12.1.3.5

I need a little help with a reading I just did...
I have been trying to work things out with a guy (guy A)but it has been a slow process and he is still very wary but I know he is interested. Anyways, I kind of made a, um, mistake and ended up making out with another guy (guy B)at a party . While guy A was not at the party, some people who know him were and may have seen, I'm not sure though. I am panicking as this would definately end all progress with guy A whom I actually really want to be with.
My question was, "Does guy A know (has someone told him) about me kissing guy B?"
response: 12.1.3.5 changing to hex 30

now I have no idea what line 1 is telling me about the situation but I imagine that line 3 is about me feeling ashamed about what I did. Line 5 I feel could either also be about me, showing how anxious I am about not knowing if he knows. Or maybe it is him being anxious about me now that he does know and doesn't know what to do now?

I am also unsure how hex 30 fits in the picture, is it just there to show that I am still clinging to guy A?
Does anyone have any ideas about whether this is an affirmative answer to my question?

Hello Alev.

Some key points here, although it may not be exactly the aspect of the answer you want to hear, the commentary in line one says, "It is only by retirement we spare ourselves humiliation." You may have sit and wait for things to cool off. This is the first part of the situation. Hexagram 12 is about a stagnating situation, however, the hexagram starts out unhappily but ends up better. Line three says, "They bear shame." It appears here that you feel a little ashamed of your actions. The commentary says, "This marks a turn for the better." So I would say, let time cool things off a little. Line five tells us that we must proceed, while confidently, still cautiously, and careful to as best as possible to tie up all loose ends. This may take some time, but I think you will be okay.

It suggests that you should give up with guy B for a start, stop seeing him as you now realize that you made a silly mistake, so don't worry, everything seems to be okay, so go reattach yourself to A because he's your man.

Indeed I feel so ashamed about what happened. Even though it was a fleeting moment of attraction to guy B and didn't go further than a kiss, I feel awful and realize that when and if guy A finds out, he will be most likely be confused and hurt.
It seems that the Iching didn't actually directly answer the question I asked (does A know?) but what it did reply is actually more constructive. I will definately take the advice of backing off B as I am more certain now than ever that my heart is with A.
Line 5 does give me hope that things will be okay, I will try to stay confident and remain cautious at the same time, I think that is sound advice to move forward slowly and put the past behind me since I can't change what I did.

Well, a little update...

guy A in this scenerio is no longer speaking with me, flat out refusing all contact with me. I cannot think of any reason besides what happened here that would cause him to suddenly hate me.
I did a reading and asked "Is this because I kissed guy B?"
the reading was hex 43.3 changing to 58, which i read as me having a momentary "joyful" exchange with guy B which causes me to now walk alone and be judged for it.
So it seems this is about my mistake with guy b
well, I made my own bed now I must lie in it...

yep, I shall survive. It's impossible for me to feel bad now since I am only getting what I deserve and if it had been him kissing someone else I would react the same way he is. I wish he would just speak to me, yell at me, something though!
I did another reading asking "what forces are at work in my relationship with A right now?"
61.2.4 to hex 25
line 2 seems to represent the connection we had (me and A)
line 4 seems to fit in with him leaving me and going on his own way

I think that hex 25 represents me being humbled by this whole experience and i really like the image in hex 25, it's really beautiful

Line 61.2 shows your desire to call him out from hiding but line 61.4 shows that you have deviated from the path, so basically you have messed up by smooching with another, therefore you can only wait and see now.
