Help w/ # 28 in a job situation please

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone could please help me interpret hex 28 in regards to a question of whether I will get a specific job that I recently interviewed for.

I have been looking for months now and have had many many rejections and agreed to volunteer in my area of expertise, just to do something. I had worked extremely hard as a student, prior to the recession, and sacrificed very much in the process. I think I might lose my mind soon.

I understand that this hex indicates excessive burden, being over one's head but what does 28 mean in my situation? Am I on the right path? Will this be over soon?

I am not sure if 28 reflects the outcome of your application so much as images how you feel - either way it's all too much.

With 28 limits have been exceeded and structures don't support anymore and I think when a hex is unchanging it is talking about ourselves - it mirrors us back on ourself. But 28 also suggests that precisely because the pressure is too great something has to give or change in some way.

Hence the advice: it's good to have a direction to go in and the superior man isn't afraid to stand alone. It is tough when you study so hard and then wham.... you are chucked out into a world that is struggling through rocky economic times. Thus your hex seems to be reflecting how over burdened and frazzled you are with it all. And unemployment is horrible unless you can use the time constructively.

But the advice is useful, it will change but you have to have a direction - some kind of forward moving impulse - and some fortitude to bear with the times and restore some balance into your life. I suspect it is calling for a bit of a rethink and or reappraisal of your situation and how you are dealing with it. Don't allow your problems to overwhelm you and maybe try a bit of lateral thinking in your employment seeking. Hang in there it'll change......

I think one of the important things to know about hex 28 is that there is a lot of strong power in those middle lines (2 thru 5) but the outside is weak. So you have the inner strength to make a move but you must do it as if the wind. (Penetratingly and Gentle) It is as if this hex is bursting at the seams.

But yeah, it is saying that things will surely have to change.
