Several weeks ago my car was burglarized upon arriving in my new city. It was only partially unpacked from the move, so nearly everything of value was stolen-- computer, hard drive, jewelry, etc... Over the past three weeks I have found myself looking for something before realizing that it too was stolen.
On Saturday night I had a dream that I had strep throat, and on Sunday I went on a date to brunch only to find my energy sapped and my throat becoming rapidly sore. I spent all week in bed and consulted Yi about whether or not I should go to the doctor. I cast 37.1.3.5 > 23. The advice I understood here was to stay home and take care of myself.
Today I finally am feeling functional enough to leave the house. My mom called and mentioned the winter jacket she bought me last year when we went skiing, and I had the sudden realization that it was stolen. I've just moved from a tropical climate to somewhere where it gets very cold and this was my only jacket. So much of value, expensive/sentimental/practical gifts from my mother all gone. I feel that this 23 "stripping" experience keeps hitting me in waves. And with the realization of another item, the new feeling of loss.
My mom is wonderful and supportive and reminds me that it's all just stuff, but I feel guilty for being sad and not showing her that her optimism brings me up.
A week ago today, I asked Yi what I need to know now and received 36.3 >24. The castings seem connected to me. I still don't quite understand what 36.3 is telling me to do except not expect things to change too quickly. I love that 24 says "The seventh day comes, you return. Fruitful to have a direction to go.’" Today is the seventh day. I want to know what direction to go. I just don't know how to phrase the question.
