Hello, I'm brand new here.

I wonder if anyone could help with this reading?

Question : Relation with P.

Answer Hexagram 53.2.5 to 18

First oracle:

‘Gradual progress. The woman marries. Good fortune.
Constancy bears fruit.’

Changing lines:
-Wild geese gradually progress to the rock.
Drinking and eating, feasting and feasting. Good fortune.’

and

-
‘Wild geese gradually progress to the ancestral grave-mounds. The wife is not pregnant for three years.
In the end, nothing can prevent it. Good fortune.’

Second oracle:
‘Corruption. Creating success from the source.
Fruitful to cross the great river.
Before the seed day, three days. After the seed day, three days.’

How to understand link between first and second oracle which are so different?

Question : Relation with P.

Answer Hexagram 53.2.5 to 18

53: to associate
this calls for a follow-up question: what are the constraints?

line 2: it's difficult to say, it's about problems
follopw-up question: what are the problems?

line 5: P. does not want to talk (ask you?) about those problems, so you need to check by yourself

18: follow-up question: what are the most embarrassing flaws? I take it that Yi is not talking about your flaws or P. flaws but about your relationship flaws

So, you have 3 follow-up questions to ask if you want to study this problem further. I must warn you that it might uncover private issues and turn out to become embarrassing.

53 - To associate
One offers their fellows to overcome constraints by associating.

2 - One consults the most able about the problems one might encounter.

5 - When the best don't want, one checks.
In the making
18 - Disorder

One needs to abandon their affairs and make themself available to patiently soften their most embarrassing flaws, in order to be able to inspire trust and be engaged by those who can help them.

Wow, Taroscopy, I don't really see how you go from:

‘Gradual progress. The woman marries. Good fortune.
Constancy bears fruit.’ To: what are the constraints?

and from:

'Wild geese gradually progress to the rock.
Drinking and eating, feasting and feasting. Good fortune.’ To: what are the problems?

I wonder if anyone else has some sense of any of this? Thanks a lot!

One consults the most able about the problems one might encounter.

Follow-up questions are very important to progress into the understanding of your situation. But since you didn't ask them then I have nothing else to say but good luck with the solving of your issue.
