I would like to ask you for your opinions about my readings concerning one subject (love relationship) but two different persons : one known to me, but very briefly, second one – my future partner in spe
A short introduction. Two and a half yrs ago I met a guy with whom I had a very very short intimate relation (but no sex) which ended before it really started. However it was quite intense and very very important experience to me. We got really along (or it was just my impression), the level of closeness/intimacy was very high (too fast for me, but I was not able to set boundaries properly) + first of all : it activated my old wound concerning the sudden death of my father (I still try to cope with that). The guy was very like my father : looking very like him, having similar likes and behavior (arrogant, moody, pushing too hard to achieve his goals with me, I would say even aggressive, manipulative); during our short time we spent together it turned out as well that he does drugs (my father, even if he was abusive: never did drugs neither alcohol), probably had similar stories with different girls, had commitment issues and so, which in general I find very very dull. In addition the context of ending of our meeting was surprisingly very similar to my fathers sudden disappearance. In general : it was a meeting which had a great impact on my inner life. I was working quite long on that with my therapist (who thinks, I suppose, the guy is a narcissistic seducer). Now, after such a long time I finally feel good with myself about that story, I mean – it is good that is ended before it started. I have no contact with that guy and the chances we are going to meet again are almost like zero. I definitely do not want to change it ! However one part of me asked myself of how it would be if we continued. So today I asked Yi about him, and here we go:
What if i decided to be in relationship with X?
14 unch – great possessions, which I interpret on the basis on my knowledge of the guy as I already know that it would not go well and it won't change, I mean: my conviction as well as that relationship potential won't change.

So I asked again, but about another, non specified person (whom I hope I will meet one day)

What can I expect from a relationship wit a guy (it is a translation, do not know how to write it better : it is like – what should I know about my future relationship wit a guy)

My question is – isn’t is strange to get three variations of 14, asking about two different persons ? Or maybe it is not about them but only about me having a great possession within?

Hi, I believe the oracle is saying to you hexagram 14 is the key to your question. Therefore, it's the same question but answered in many variables. In my experience hexagram 14 isn't lucky so to speak. Like you will win the lotto is what I am getting at.

As in your case you can receive this answer in a confused state of mind. Personally, I used to get confused with the hexagram 42 and hexagram 14. In hexagram 14 you are more overcoming something to receive a reward of some description. Whereas in hexagram 42 it kind of just naturally happens, for a while at least

In your case this may be knowledge, sometimes something you hold or own is not always material.
Then again it could be something physical you may wish like to gain. For example a ring or a car or a house.
Overall you will need to overcome something to gain something

I'd see 14 uc as 'you have it' so it would appear you are already in a relationship with him, the one that began. Is it still there ? Well it sort of looks like it.

So this is about a guy you have yet to meet ? You had 14 three times and I feel 14 always draws your attention to your assets and gifts, both things you earn and things you don't. It is wealth in yourself and in others. Seems to me you have enough (14) to make a project out of this successfully and by project (7) I mean to be actively looking/signalling that you want someone. I think people do make finding someone a project sometimes when they set their will at it.

I wonder if what you meet with is more or less what you met with this other guy.

Sounds to me like you already met him, he's already around. Whether that is the guy you speak of or another guy I don't know. it certainly looks like it is time to act upon whatever you are thinking of doing about this whole thing (55). You know as much as you're going to, it's not time to hold back it's time to appreciate and use the wealth that is yours here.

Getting back to our conversation.
@steve, your message gave me an insight to look at it from a different angle. I mean I searched some other threads and I can see that I could possibly interpreted it in quite simplistic way. Now I can see that people go bit further and treat the 14 as: you are enough, try to appreciate who you are and what you have focus on that (and then it possibly multiplies in different forms, not necessarily in a form of a relationship but in general). That makes me think about my motivation which pushes me towards a relationship. I think that could be the same issue (I am not good enough, I do not deserve, I have to be with someone important in a social rank to prove my worth to myself) which pushed me towards that guy (who is someone quite known) the other day... In other words Yi is possibly saying: you don't have to if that is your motivation. It might be pointing out that my question doesn't represent my real need or rather a need of someone in me feeling sometimes worthless or it could be in a way just an outer, social motivation.
However I still don't get what you think about winning in lotto. Could you make it more clear to me?
About gaining something: as I wrote, it was not sexually consumed, this is the first thing which comes to my mind which I could possibly missing from him and trying to get (quite superficial, but that is the way it is...). Nothing material as far as I know myself.

Going back to your interpretation: no, not at all, we are not in a relationship so to speak and it never happened. I would rather describe it as fling. But I wanted it to continue and check this out and maybe I did not cut it off internally. I think that part of your interpretation:

is quite coherent with what I wrote above, replying to Steve, and how I see that situation today: I made a project of being with someone and I then that story happened. I did not check that man if he was a right person for me and obviously he was not. Then 100% true.
