Hex 14 with changes

Asked the IC for insight and advice on my love life...I'm feeling pretty confused with myself and most everything else in this matter....
Response: Hex 14 with all lines changing....into Hex 8.
I don't think I've ever received a response with every line changing!? Does this mean not to even consider the lines much, but focus more on the two Hexagrams? What do you think the message here is? Advice, insight, and thoughts are most welcome and appreciated!

I'd start with just the two hexagrams, and when you get some kind of image from that, only then go on and look at the lines. Not all at once though...

Could it be that you are partners (8) but are too much (you or both) living your individuality? Hex.14 has to do with your assets and talents, and it is good to use them. But being together also makes its demands.

From your question it was not clear if you had problems in your existing love life or rather you have problems with making one exist.

Strangely enough, it's a little of both...if that makes any sense? I still have big unresolved feelings for my ex, but I think I'm slowly getting through that...still difficult though...and I am actually a little bit interested in someone else, but he's very confusing and he also lives far away, so I really don't know if that's even anything at all or practical at that...
Guess I was just loooking for a general idea on what's happening and/or what is coming up in that area of ,y life. I've been "single" for a pretty long time and do have remote hopes of establishing a relationship at some point in the near future. That's why the question was so very vague

follow up question

Thought I would try again with a more specific question....so I asked about the man I'm starting to really like that....but whom lives far away... He is a great person and very unusual and eccentric...which I value greatly, but his nature also seems to leave me regularly confused regarding him and the possibilities there...
Asked IC what the energies surrounding he and I are. Response: Hex 3, lines 3 and 4 changing to 49.
Hexagram 3 is a little confusing to me....It's referenced as "trouble at the start", but it also seems to have lingering positive vibes within it as well....and 49/"Transformation"...just seems wide open and vague in regards to my question. Is it maybe referring to MY recent transformation, which is opening me up to even consider any romantic feelings for someone... or a transformation on his part? Or both? Or transformation in regard to the "relationship" we have (I'm using the term "relationship" loosely here, as it seems to me that we are mostly just in the early stages of developing a wonderful friendship, but I confess, my feelings run a little beyond that...not at ALL sure about where he stands on that though...)

All the lines in Hex 14 are good and going to Hex 8 suggests that you hang on to this man and he will prove to be of great "value" in the future.

Hex 3, lines 3 and 4 changing to 49.

This suggests that there is a lot of energy here, at the moment it is pretty wild but that, if given the chance to grow will burst into something into something very positive.
Hex 3 has always has some problem or other in the beginning, as there is a lot of energy/passion flying about which leads to Hex 49 all that wild energy finally produces a solid result, a new beginning of stability.
