Hex 16 unchanged as a final outcome

One of my clients who had an adverse reaction to a treatment i provided is asking for a compensation. Personally I think she is exaggerating the symptoms to get some money but I have not seen the medical evidence yet. I asked last night what will be the final outcome of this situation and received Hex 16 unchanged. I’m not sure how to interpret it as the final outcome?? What are your thoughts please?

Your customer is bluffing. Nothing much will happen, just scrutinise the (fake) evidence (if she sends any at all).

Hexagram 16 is associated with the ideas of readiness (to be or make ready), with enthusiasm, inspiration, spontanaity. This makes me wonder if what is hard for you, in part, is that this person's reaction (right or wrong) feels so far removed from the zest and joy you feel towards your own work?

Hilary's book offers the question: what inspires you? One thought I had is, could you ask a similar question, like: how can I apply the same joy and enthusiasm that I feel in my work towards finding an amiable solution with this client?

It's akin to alchemy, to a transformative solution (maybe from client, to adversary, to ... ?). Perhaps you can see this (even if only in some small way) as an offering -- to all involved, but especially yourself -- as an opening to what is possible.
