Hex 31.5.6 changing to 56

Hello there, I hope to get some help with a reading I got few days ago. I asked "What do I am for X" and got hexagram 31.5.6 changing into 56. It concerns a kind of romantic relationship I have with someone living far away which confuse me a lot with different words that many times expresses opposite feelings and wills from his part. He seems to me being held by his own will to not let the relationship space for growing and at the same time keeping a kind of secret will on living it for a better time he doesn't even really believe it could ever come. He is in fact talking about a future meeting as something he would have already liked to turn into reality but also saying he doesn't know when but it will happen. In the while, his communications are becoming more and more sporadic.
The hexagram 31 being "about completion, uniting, harmony and influencing another to that effect" is making me thinking that his affection is somehow evolving, growing and taking means. The line 5 suggest to me that it comes from a sexual and not only sexual deep connection, but the line 6 confuse me as I don't understand where the is lacking means and most, how to adjust the interpretation of the line to my question.
Hexagram 56, the wanderer is trowing me in the unkown, I can't make a correlation with the fisrt hexagram and less find a sense to my question.
Hope some of you will help with this reading, thanks to anyone who will want to give me a glimpse on it.

Hello Moss, not really. We met online and we got very interested on meet each other, he couldn't come to me so I went to see him. We spent one week together and leaving each other he expressed the will to go on with our relationship but very slowly. Since then, two months now, the situation is what I have previously explained. Thanks for your reply, I still don't really get the answer of 56 to the question "what am I for him", it may be because I don't really like the outcome it suggests.
