:bows: Hello again, nice people!
This does not speak to me...so I wonder how you interpret hex 31 and lines...specifically 2, 5, 6? Turning into hex50
Asked for an insight/reccomandation for a certain situaton...as if something is missing there...it is a nice cosy report with that man but somehow...not sure how seriously I am to take him.

His intentions are 2.2,4 into 40 and this line confuses me further more:
"6 at 2: Straight, square, great. Without skills there will be harvest.
Without doing, nothing not done. One accomplishes what one is or lives, not what one does. Greatness accomplishes great things." LiSe
Everything is as it is supposed to be? Wrapped in a bag?

"6 at 4: Enclosed in a bag. Without fault, without praise.
Don't judge or choose about good and evil. It narrows the mind and makes it unfit to follow the time. Earth does not choose, it gives every being room for its own Dao.
Many things seem important but are not at all essential for life. Simply stop thinking about them and life comes back in all its splendor: because you keep silent. It is like watching wild animals, they come only if you are not-present, but part of them."

Wooing is somewhat confusing :p

You have rapport with your friend but he doesn't seem to be wholly there. What body parts are missing?
31.2.5.6 > 50

Six in the second place means:
The influence shows itself in the calves of the legs.
Misfortune.
Tarrying brings good fortune.

Nine in the fifth place means:
The influence shows itself in the back of the neck.
No remorse.

Six at the top means:
The influence shows itself in the jaws, cheeks, and tongue.

The influence is showing itself in caves (comes over), back of the neck (leans his head your way), and jaws, cheeks, and tongue (good talker). The parts that are missing would be in lines 1, 3, and 4.

Six at the beginning means:
The influence shows itself in the big toe.

Nine in the third place means:
The influence shows itself in the thighs.
Holds to that which follows it.
To continue is humiliating.

Nine in the fourth place means:
Perseverance brings good fortune.
Remorse disappears.
If a man is agitated in mind,
And his thoughts go hither and thither,
Only those friends
On whom he fixes his conscious thoughts
Will follow.

So the missing parts are big toe (not enough action), thighs (sexual attraction), and mind (commitment).

Bradford on this 'big toe': "He gets itchy feet at the first thought of stimulus. He imagines sensations to come and his toes start to curl up in early delight" and goes on to say that he is timid and hesitant.

Have we found the missing parts :)

:rofl:You are very interesting, not to mention one whitty man!!!
Interesting approach that was! And you made me laugh as well!:D

Just so you`d know, I was convicted (oraly:p) truout this time that I am able to curl a few toes on that person`s body, you know...:mischief: Am I to gather that he was only decieving me about this? With what purpose? I am more in it for nice and steady report, some simillar interests and fun chats (sadly so, he does not rock my world :D)-perhaps those are parts thatare missing from my side?

Could you shed the light on " His intentions are 2.2,4 into 40" and belonging moving lines please...not that it really matters anymore, because I think I have a crush on you now!:p

There are various ideas about 2.2. I think it refers to the conveyance of title to land by the enfeoffment ritual, and following Harmen could be translated "Bestowed frontier is great." Basically it was an authorization for a nobleman to control an area if he could conquer it. Now, does this man, whose parts we have assembled like Isis assembling Osiris, consider you as land to conquer or an expansion of the royal domains (part of his circle of friends)? Well, to conquer he will need to try harder, but certainly he wants to incorporate you into his circle of friends. You'll know which for sure if he offers exclusive loyalty.

The scholar Michael Nylan describes enfeoffment like this: "In the ritual enfeoffment of his vassal lords, the Son of Heaven confers upon his chief supporters nine symbolic gifts of investiture (the so-called Nine Conferrals), including a bundle of arrows, sacrificial wine, and ceremonial clothing, all of which symbolize the ruler's absolute trust in his subordinates" (The Elemental Changes, p.218).

The "bag" in line 4 is this guy . Whincup translates it as 'quiver', and I think it refers to the bundle of arrows of the enfeoffment ritual. To accept those arrows was to acknowledge loyalty to the king -- somewhat like an engagement ring. So I think your friend is thinking along those lines. Hexagram 40 with its references to archery implies that he may pop the question.

If only I were thirty years younger . . .

Thank you yet again, I could never come up with that interpretation alone...not to mention to those stunning results of "popping the question"!! Not likely....oh no.
Remembering how many problems Isis had in re-assembling Osiris-and we are missing key parts here: "So the missing parts are big toe (not enough action), thighs (sexual attraction), and mind (commitment)." not sure how to interprete your findings other than extreeemely optimistic ones :)

p.s. the one I WANTED today was told will end up as 13.3...so feel free to shead a tear,oh Universe....and of course, I would need you to be at my approaching wedding pocossin ;-)
