Hi guys,

I recently discovered Jesed's approach to the Iching and have been trying it out to try and get some insight into my current situation. I asked 2 "diagnosis" questions like he suggested, in two different realms of my life.

Current Diagnosis between me and X: Hexagram 37.2.4 > 1

This is in reference to a man I had a falling out with and wish to reconnect with. Not sure if I should continue having hope or let it go at this point. The reading seems positive. Both lines mention the woman in the role of a "wife" which makes me think the relationship will heal in the time to come. Using Jesed's methods for measuring time, I am getting that line 2 will occur around April 15th, 2020 and line 4 August 13th, 2020.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read and respond.

Are you wanting us to comment on this person's method, or on the results you got from the reading, or both?

And if it's about a particular I Ching method (not specific to a reading), a good place to post that is in the Exploring Divination section of this website.

Also,
... recently discovered Jesed's approach to the Iching and have been trying it out ....
I have never heard of 'Jesed's approach' before. I did a bit of digging and came up with ideas like 'Current Diagnosis' and General Diagnosis' but I still don't have a sense of what the 'Jesed approach' is? Anything you can share so I can understand it?

PS - I'm still interested in knowing more about Jesed's method. However, I did find one page where he explains his time method, and looking at your reading I get that Line 2 might happen within a 60-day period starting in mid-May and Line 4 might happen in a 60-day period starting around mid-July? But that's only if you ascribe to this method in the first place!

Best, D.

Hi Fredda, sorry for the late response. I didn't get a notification that anyone had responded and just checked on a whim.

I was seeking some advice on how to interpret 37.2.4>1 It seems promising, but I don't see much movement. Just "don't follow your whims" and then "she's the treasure of the house". Currently, we are not together, so line 4 appears to suggest to me that we will get back together?

I don't see any mention of approaching one another or reconciliation. This is my first time using this approach so I'm not entirely sure how I should view the results.

According to Jesed, asking in this way shows a timeline, which makes me hopeful.

Thank you for taking the time to respond!
