Hex 37 - no changing lines - relationship issue

Long story short, things have gotten complicated with this girl I've been seeing. The question I had asked was what I should do about my situation with her? Hexagram 37 - The Family came up with no changing lines. I've spoken with my family alot in the past couple of weeks so I don't think it has anything to do with them. Any ideas? Need more info let me know. Thanks

Oh I am very respectful and tolerant. We're on good terms, things have just gotten confusing. and I'm not sure what the next step needs to be for me.

Honestly I feel like she is the one running from commitment. I would love to get more involved with her. At the same time, I don't want her to feel like I'm pressuring her.

sometimes when the I Ching answer doesn't spark any ideas I look at various translations and just saturate my brain with the hexagram. Since whatever we focus our attention on manefests I find pretty quickly my subconscious starts sending me images of what the hexagram ressonates with in my own life. Anyway, I considered your question and got out a few different I Chings and started reading up on 37.Family. It wasn't long before it occured to me that we are now in the Christmas season, the time for celebrating the most famous family unit of all, Joseph, Mary and Jesus. From there it occured to me that perhaps there is some Christmas celebration you could invite your friend to. Maybe get a whole group of friends together to go caroling?

That's a thought. It's funny you should mention christmas because I do have a special gift for her. Something only she can appreciate. She had no idea about it when I asked that question. Let me ask this, could 37 also point to her ex's re-emergence in her life. Because they have been talking more and they're neighbors....I don't mention that it bothers me because they have always been close. my fear is that maybe it was pointing to a relationship between the two of them.

He certainly is part of the family. They are very close. Honestly, it did bother me that they talk. It's that whole jealousy thing, you know. But, I am getting over that and I can accept him. Besides, I don't think it's right to tell someone your interested in who they can and can't talk to.

It says that you should make up your mind exactly what you want to do and therefore, stop hesitating as you need to change the relationship into something stronger and better, and this will prove to be very beneficial. Hex 4 gives the idea of immaturity and the need to learn some hard facts about how to maintain a successful relationship.
