Hex 39 and an entity

Howdy folks. A little over a year ago I experienced what I believe to have been a haunting. It came on suddenly and left just as suddenly. I would feel its presence mainly when I was in my bedroom, but once I saw a light yellow colored orb downstairs when I found it trying to bother my cats. I think it stayed a little over a month, seeming to finally leave when I began playing Hindu and Tibetan Buddhist mantras which I found on Youtube. I've been thinking about it a lot lately, so I finally ask the IC about it. My question: What exactly was the entity which haunted me and the house a little over a year ago? The answer I received is Hex 39 lines 2, 3, 4 and 5 changing to Hex 40. The only thing I can gather is that maybe it was at least a friendly entity, since more than one of these lines speaks of friends/allies/helpers. That's funny, since I have been wanting to believe it was an unfriendly entity, but that may be just my fear about the paranormal influencing the way I want to perceive things.

Would anyone have any more insight about what the IC's answer is saying?

Hex 39 means walking with difficulty, Hex 40 means solving a problem successfully.
So I think it is just a small animal, it came to your house because its leg got hurt, but finally it had gone back to its home.

Because the Hex code of Hex 40 says "If you do not know where to go, you'd better go back to your home". You do not know where did it go, I Ching told you it had gone home.
By the way, why do you play Hindu and Tibetan Buddhist mantras instead of believe in God? I also believe in God. Even in the text of I Ching, there is "offering up a sacrifice to God", which shows that the ancient Chinese believed in God.

The entity was from your own mind. It was an interpretation of appearances in terms of your concerns and worries. It's good that you have been released from it.

Firstly, this is very personal experience so it is difficult to interpret exactly what it was.

You believe it to have been sort of entity, which of course it could have been. So, let's assume that this is true in order to offer another angle to the reading.

H.39 is about obstacles. So, clearly it represented some impasse or blocked energy. Perhaps xuesongyu is correct (if I understood him correctly) and this was another departed animal or "cat" seeking his kin, between two worlds?

Line 2: Shows that this obstacle or "interference" wasn't your fault. i.e. it isn't directly about you. This is sourced from the bigger picture and thus a bird's eye view is required - more non-identification. Stuff happens (even at para-physical levels) let it go and move on.

Line 3: What happens here is not some entity that decided to pay a visit for whatever reason but your reaction to it. Too much emphasis on the external. What does this say about your focus? As you mentioned: "... my fear about the paranormal influencing the way I want to perceive things." Feet on the ground.

Line 4: This may be suggesting that you need to return to a more harmonious view of the world and the way you perceive the external world and it "threats". This doesn't mean your interpretation of these events is wrong - more in terms of how you process it. There is a suggestion of isolation here. Letting go, allowing more of a connection with others and giving and receiving support is necessary. How do you see this line in relation to what you experienced?

Line 5: This falls back on the idea that it is the spirit within that will attract that assistance you need. You have the strength to deal with this and all the other aspects of your life surrounding this focus.

There is obviously a direct relationship to how we perceive external reality and what is going on inside ourselves, especially those with a more "sensitive" disposition. In my view, these "orbs" and various kinds of entities are common place. They can be an objective reality but often part imagination and part "echo". There are many psycho-environmental factors involved. But ultimately, since phenomena of this kind can be a distraction to the real work inside, then it's best to just acknowledge it and let go as Hex 40 implies.

Howdy all. Even though I don't agree with what all has been said in interpreting my reading, I do appreciated all of you who have taken the time to read and respond to my post.

Topal, I'm glad you used the term "blocked energy" to describe Hex 39. I hadn't thought of Hex 39 in those terms before, but it does make sense. I believe everything is energy, even the spirits of the dead, so Hex 39 changing to Hex 40 makes perfect sense as to describe a ghost still trapped in this realm of existence because he/she is being blocked (39) from being delivered (40) completely over to the realm of the dead.
