45.1.5 to 51 ~ You could be in for a surprise.
If it's been a while, or if it's the first contact ~ line 1 ~ then "good faith" must be established or re-established.
Line 5 says that this good faith can only be established through inner resonance, steadily shared over a long period of time.
So, in this case, I'd say that contact for the sake of contact is good, especially if it finds inner resonance (the surprise,) but keep your expectations for outward change low, at least for now.
