Hello once again

must be a week of deliberation

I have another important question I was hoping to get help with and get off my chest once and for all. It's about a situation with someone from my past which I've posted and received various positive responses from on this site. But am feeling these days that hope is fading. So I asked the IC

"Have I done the right thing with X?"

I got 47 unchanging

I asked again "Could you please expand on this further IC?"

I got 7 unchanging

is this telling me I did do the right thing up to the point of exhaustion (47) and major effort (7) or am I off track?

I have lost track who X is, as this forum has literally hundreds of Xs floating around in posts. It seems to be the primary letter of the alphabet when referring to someone.

Anyway, if you are made of sturdy stuff, then you have made the right choice in the matter because it seems your situation with X is problematic and therefore it is good to face the challenge head on but whether they listen is debatable.

Yeah well Mr X has a bit of a ring tone to it......

I suppose I knew that answer all along - at least the IC supports me challenging the issue in the past which I've felt comfortable with even though I knew all along (as you said 'debatable') that it can't ever predict whether another party is going to come to the party!
