hex 48.1.2.4.6>13 vocational change

Hi all,
A friend led me here and I find a lot of perceptive, compassionate voices, so I've finally joined. I've been dabbling a little in querying the oracle, and it appeals to the way my thinking heart/feeling mind processes the world! So with thanks in advance, I got a reading with a pile of changing lines, plus a note that said, "read the upper NONchanging line, too" (5). Any wisdom would be much appreciated.

My question arose as I am undertaking a long-deferred career change: I am cutting my current job to half-time (just enough to live on) and planning to develop a new career teaching and preaching (for which I'd spent 10 yrs in theology school part-time). I've got all my financial ducks in a row and I feel I am ripe and strong enough for this change. So my question wasn't really about whether I should, but rather how to start:
"Where should I seek my first teaching opportunities?"
And I got The Well (48), 1, 2, 4, and 6 all changing - transformed to 13, Social Mechanism, which I'm THRILLED with, as I am a social justice preacher trying to influence how people consider justice and compassion. So on the surface it all looks pretty awesome, but I'm very aware that as a newbie I can't yet read it very deeply.

I think the cast hex is pointedly telling me that the connections and resources i need are already at play in my life and within me (I have been doing a bit of theology work on the side for some years), and I don't need to go searching or thinking up something new. ? (Maybe I'm being too literal?) But all those changing lines ... what am I to take from them? is that very significant?

On the contrary, I believe you need to seek brand new ones.

The Well shows the connections/resources you've already got.

But here, the resources you've already got are old and muddy (48.1) and defective (48.2). You can repair them (48.4) and use them (48.6), which is good. However, the fact that 48 is quickly 'finished' with four changing lines, shows that a drastic change is needed.
13 is as you said about sociability.

So I'd say you have a much better chance to find teaching opportunities online and/or by joining social media, and/or joining new groups. The people you already know won't be of much help. Or, they might be, but you need to put some real effort into renewing those connections.
