Hex 48.5 to 46

Will it be fruitful to contact X in September? I received hexagram 48.5 as an answer. It’s in regards to getting a response, and I have heard that line 5 is auspicious. I take it to mean that I should take action and contact him, is that a good interpretation or can anyone shed light on this?

The line says that there is a well, with fresh water, and someone is drinking from it. In my experience, it refers to someone who already has enough resources and doesn't need any more. So I would say no, it will not be fruitful because this person already has enough resources (?).

The question was asking whether or not it would be fruitful for me, not him. So would that mean that I already have enough resources? It doesn’t make sense because I already know he is not doing well in his business and his resources are falling off. If I work with him I know it would be good for him but I want to know if it will be good for me.

If it's you who already has a lot of resources, then you already have all you need. It would be fruitful for you to focus on your existing business.

Hi line 5 shows you have resources to help others and you will not be harmed because its an ever flowing spring water that is cool icy , abundant to share. Diamanda is right though, for beginning September until 20th , there is lack of resources. I use 5 elements theory of wen wang gua. Wood element that holds the well is missing in September. Try casting hex and ask if its good for another month.
