Perhaps this 1 is just too obvious...but I inquired if I was pregnant & received 50 unchanging.

Initial thought was absolutely yes I am, as the picture seems to describe a ceremonial cooking in a pot, but then I questioned it as I've read 50 UC is the opposite of 3 UC...and I would take sprouting over the cauldron to indicate pregnancy.

Perhaps both can! Or 50 UC could be a description of what's going on with me spritually.

For context, I received a negative at home pregnancy but it's still days til my period is due & my doctor's appointment...I'm obviously eager to find out so I virtually cast!

Any comments or thoughts are appreciated, thank you

Hi scarlett, from this answer I'd say yes you are. 50 hints at slow cooking, and the metaphor of cooking means pregnant in many countries (see for example the English "buns in the oven").

Thanks

I would say then: "not yet". If pregnancy is something you are seeking/wishing, it's on the making but just not yet. There seems to be anxiety or worries; and a temporarilly unability to get pregnant. Eventually it should be achieved.

Wish you all the best

There's a more accurate oracle for this that involves peeing on a magical stick. Sounds superstitious, I know, but some women swear by it.

Each of those magical pee sticks costs $15. Yi is free. No harm in asking and seeing what the oracle says. I did so a few months ago, got 23 unchanging, and knew immediately I was not. My period duly arrived the next day.

That said, I wish scarlett3page would let us know what happened, since it seems she is still posting on the forum.

I still am unsure if I was ever pregnant. I took Dong Quai to bring about menstruation and did have what appeared to be a normal period a week later.

An example of a hexagram with no change lines meaning "no change".

I know this is an old thread, but I just have to comment. No offense Bradford- but as a man I'm sure you are not aware that it can take weeks for a pregnancy test to show positive. This is why women ask these questions. My last pregnancy I was 4 weeks pregnant before an over-the-counter test showed positive. I felt funny and took a test probably around a week after conception, and it say nope. Also, I had a really weird short period before that seemed to me to indicate pregnancy, but I had no way to prove it. Once again, I was 4, nearly 5 weeks pregnant before a test showed it. On a side note this is also why the new "heart beat" laws are so heinous. Many women do not know they are pregnant before 6 weeks, and at that point yes a "beat" of sorts can be detected, which is not actually a 4 chamber actual heart, but a small underformed "pumping" mechanism. At this stage the fetus is not even yet a fetus but an embryo. I digress, but the point being actually symptoms of your period, peri-menopause, pregnancy, misscarriage, and also just hormonal changes can look and feel like an early pregnancy and there is no way to tell which it is for weeks. Sorry to soap-box on this post, but I keep running into this same thing across the forum and want to explain for all of the women who are asking Yi instead of "ClearBlue" or whatever.

His point was that asking Yi really is not proof of pregnancy and therefore all anyone will get is guesses. I can see why a woman would ask but I don't see posting here is really going to help very much since she will get guesses of 'yes you are' or 'no you're not' which isn't proof. It doesn't really get her anywhere further forward does it? I do understand why she'd ask and post though, almost a support thing, but there isn't really much point in terms of actually knowing.

.....misscarriage, and also just hormonal changes can look and feel like an early pregnancy and there is no way to tell which it is for weeks.

But a question to Yi isn't a reliable way to tell. I think that was his point. I mean any woman not sure is bound to ask but it doesn't mean anyone can come to any firm conclusions whatsoever....she will get guesses of either 'yes' or 'no' and she could get that from anyone.

I know there are people who have had really clear answers about their pregnancy but there are equally people who seemingly have clear answers that were wrong. It's only ever going to be guesses here.
