The situation: person A (female) is about to spend the night at persons B home (male) for the first time.
It has been mutually agreed beforehand that they will have sexual intercourse.
Both persons are not engaged in any kind of romantic commitment so far, the affair is fairly new (1+ month), there are emotions arousing from both sides, the man is trying to ward them off (insecurity and commitment issues). Thank you everyone and especially @rosada for your valuable contributions. A rather unexpected update: They haven't manage to meet so far, due to a last minute change of the man's shift (he's a cop), BUT they have been talking a lot in the past two days, through texting, partly revealing some hidden feelings, even in a "crippled" way (both persons have great difficulty in expressing their true feelings), also trying to clear misunderstandings that have caused a great lack of communication between them. I would be excited to see a possibly positive event between them unfold
