Hi :)

Was wondering if anyone could help me with this one..

I have so many changing lines and I understand that there's a method to know which changing lines are the most important to read..but I don't know how to do them yet...

My question was, What should my attitude be towards x?

Thank you everyone, as always

There are many methods of addressing multiple changing lines -- a Google search will turn up a couple dozen on this site alone. You might read through some to see what resonates to you. There are also a number of strategies that serve to reduce or eliminate multiple changing lines. (I do not have much regard for such practices, but perhaps they'll work for you.)

In your case I would recommend reading through all the lines (including the ones that didn't appear in you cast) and see which one(s) speak to you most. Of Hexagram 6, only the 5th line suggests any benefit from engaging in contention. The rest suggest, in various forms, the benefits of walking away from a fight. FWIW, I'm of the school that would follow the highest unchanging Yang (line 4: take care of those things under your protection; no progress is possible on the larger issues at this time.)

By some schools, so many changing lines imply that you're already well into the resulting hex 34: the doors of heaven open and you may move freely. The danger is in making a mess of things by losing discipline in the absence of constraints.

So-- you're moving from a place of few options to a place of many. At least by one interpretive scheme.

quickly 6 > 34 warns to not pick a fight with this person, if you relate to this person by sticking within guidelines, as per the image:

Thus the superior man does not tread upon paths

That do not accord with established order.

then perseverance furthers, you probably will have a strong impact on them.

Look to the lines for more advice (obviously) hex 6 can often symbolise the contention in ones own mind, and in line 6 an empty victory brings about loss. Even if you dont look at the moving lines at all the judgement pretty much sums it up:

CONFLICT. You are sincere
And are being obstructed.
A cautious halt halfway brings good fortune.
Going through to the end brings misfortune.
It furthers one to see the great man.
It does not further one to cross the great water.
