Hi, Anon -

I've started noticing recently, that sometimes when I get an answer with no moving lines, the Image/Great Symbolism (which I used to see only as general good advice) carries a strong message with it, almost like a moving line would.

In 64, the symbolism talks about distinguishing/differentiating carefully between things - to me this suggests that the answer is yes, it does matter.

Maybe some followup questions to explore how it matters and/or which job would be best for you would be good?

Hi Jeff-
I have long held a great deal of respect for the Da Xiang (Great Symbolism or Overall Image). I think its authors had a profound understanding of both the Gua and their component Ba Gua, much more than the authors in any of the other Wings.
I just wish that translators would lay off the idiotic translation of Junzi as "Superior Man."

Yes, I was always focussed on the judgement and commentaries, but it's been recently that the G/S has been reasonating as advice (ie. what to do) in single Hex answers.

Still learning... (aren't we all ;-) )
