Hexagram 1: Ignoring a romantic pursuit?

Hey folks,

Thought you might like to chime in on this one...

A good friend of mine just made a new friend, whom I have yet to meet, but judging from descriptions of her and some photos, she definitely seems like someone I'd be interested in romantically. I'm sure I will eventually run into her now that she hangs out with my friend.

So, recently I consulted the oracle... and first inquired, "Tell me about this path towards X" and received Hexagram 47 unchanging.

Then as a follow up I asked, "What if I ignore pursing this path?" I got Hexagram 1.3.4.5.6 changing into Hexagram 19.

I'm interpreting this as there is nothing wrong about this path "No Fault" but that it's not something to put too much energy into. And on the second question, since there were four changing lines I read the the first unchanged lines..

Line 1
Hidden dragon. Do not act.

Line 2
Dragon appearing in the field.
It furthers one to see the great man.

I'm getting that this is the most fortuitous route to take here. And if I'm supposed to meet her it will happen on it's own accord.

Hi, dboy89! I would suggest you ask these questions after you meet the girl. There's actually no path at this time. All you know about her is from photos or descriptions, but does she know anything about you? See how she is in real life and how she responds to you. For the time being you could instead ask what should I know about X or anything like that.

Good advice eastern girl. The other component to this is that I did see her birthday was, and though I cannot get a totally accurate birth chart because I don't have the time of birth, but we have some pretty powerful aspects to personal planets, thus why I am so interested in meeting her to see how that may play out.
I took your advice though and asked

What do I need to know about X?

Hexagram 44.4 > 57

It seems like letting this go is the thing to do.

Why let go before even trying? If you should meet her, you'll know what to do. I think 44.4 speaks of your current situation — you don't know her yet, she's a stranger to you. I got this line many times in the past during a period when I was totally alienated from someone who used to be close to me.

It could also mean she's not easy to approach. Maybe your friend will tell you how friendly she is.

I have to agree with kash here, in that 47 had never boded well for me, regarding a relationship with a woman. Just the chemistry would cramp my style. That's exactly how I read your first reading.

Your second confirmed it.

But I would leave you with this little caveat: the naughtiest of happiest memories, or happiest of naughty memories, would never have worked out if I had married them. Caviar and champagne are not on my shopping list, but I'd not pass them up if offered, in real life.
