hexagram 1 unchanging

Hello,

I consulted I-ching with a question about the possibility of blossoming a brand-new mere friendship into something romantic and maybe lasting.
The wisdom I've been offered was hexagram 1 unchanging.

I always have an odd problem with readings without even a single changing line! When it comes to matters of certain emotional value, things tend to get vaguer to me...

I'd like to know about your insights and interpretations. Did I-ching bless me?!

What i understood is
The situation is open to expeculations positively?! Since it's an unchanged hexagram I'm really confused. Maybe i-ching is trying to push me out of my comfort zone to defy my insecurities? I can't tell if it indicates a general emotional openness (because I'm really sceptic in that area) or is it specifically talking about this person/case!

If you go over to the Exploring Divination forum at the top with the yellow background there is a thread called something like "Unchanging hexagrams". Click on that and you'll see people have discussed all their experiences with unchanging hexagrams. Click on Hexagram 1. You'll get lots of ideas there.

Hexagram 1 is about how a clear intention can lead to a real manifestation. Unchanging might be a warning that simply wishing and hoping - intending - isn't enough however. But anyway, check out the thread.

I'd say this is a very positive response: there is the possibility of something blossoming here.

If it were me, I wouldn't overthink it much more than that, but ... If you want to dig a bit deeper, the four word statement for Hex. 1, has been translated as:

* the ‘four qualities’: sublimity (being outstanding), accomplishment, furtherance, perseverance ... or

* "great(est) fulfillment rewards persistence."

That all sounds pretty positive to me.

I think I'm just getting "energetically creative" and imaginng things...I'm not sure though. I guess it's remain to be seen.

I love your technique. Never thought about focusing on the mantra of the hexagram to get the unchanged essence of it.
