I asked if I would hear from a Guy I had feelings for -for many years now. I got Hexagram 1 unchanging. It's been a long time since I have heard from this individual and I have pretty much let go of my feelings that we would be together. These feelings are still present, but I don't act on them. I don't contact him. I have had a hard time deciding what it meant.

It doesn't make sense that he's going to suddenly contact you after such a long time. So although Hex 1 is supremely auspicious, I'll abandon the possibility that he's going to get in touch.

The alternative to an external interpretation of a hexagram is an internal one. That means your question has a ton of creative energy for you. Ordinarily, I don't recommend that people live in their imaginations, because I believe that a person should live in the present, in the NOW, rather than dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. But your case might be an exception, because when you draw Hex 1 unchanging, it's a bit like having a hotline to the angels. It's important. So, maybe you should explore this question a bit more. Why this guy? Why now after such a long time apart? Why not another guy? How much of this is your imagination acting up just because you don't have something more real in your life right now? How much of this is because the guy actually represented something real for you?

Just some questions to consider to get you started.

Not entirely different from Dobro's view, I view h1 in this case as potential. This tells me it's not something you have already determined, nor has he, nor has fate yet determined this meeting to happen. So, who will make use of the potential?
