Hi All,

I asked a question regarding how to analyse a Vedic Astrology chart. Generally there are two ways to interpret Navamsa(9th division of the chart) which is crucial for any Horoscope interpretation.I have taken one procedure where the Navamsa chart is taken as a division of the chart (as the name suggests in Sanksrit 'amsa' meaning 'division') but not as separate entity/chart. This is still a topic of debate between different astrologers on what way do we need to intrepret Navamsa as the scriptures are thousands of years old. But i chose to take it only as a division.

The reading is as follows:
2/13/2016 11:49

lines: 797989
hexagrams: 14:2,4,6 — 36

Does iching alerts me that i shall not continue with the current way of interpretation to others and keep it to myself for self-analysis or do i need to abandon this procedure and go with other way.

Thanks in Advance. Hope to find some insights :)

Shrink, YES KEEP IT TO YOURSELF,
you are NOT ready yet, you need to hide your light, keep a low profile, you are a reliable practitioner of Vedic Astrology, but be patient and WAIT TO BE GUIDED ONTO A RIGHTEOUS TRACK, you still have to study and observe more charts and people's lives and events.

how to analyse a Vedic Astrology chart
14:2,4,6 — 36

Loading the cart (14.2) and going elsewhere (14.6) regarding the sky (14.6).
Result is 36, darkness, hidden things, even wound and injury.
So I'd say it sounds like if you use a method which is not the standard one, the result won't be good.

Can I improve my understanding by checking some scenarios and charts and again consult iching to use 2nd way of interpretation.

Very interesting reading, light above heaven and light below earth - two opposite methods.
I guess choose anyone, doesn't matter.

Restraining your resources(.4) and going with the masses (36), try not to reinvent the wheel and go with the more popular one.

Hi Srini59,

I have no knowledge of Astrology whatsoever, so this is my view based on your hexagrams and lines.
I don't see any warning of harm in terms of using one method or the other. I think that Yi is saying that either line of interpretation is valid as this Astrology chart has a wealth of knowledge and it has got useful tools at your disposal. Some people may argue that one procedure is better than the other, so you have to keep things in perspective and avoid moving from one method to the other without any reason. When using the chart be modest and conscientious, and if necessary seek guidance and advice from those who can help you to understand the chart better. Your relating hexagram, 36, shows that your understanding of the chart and its use is still not very clear, so a low profile attitude is not a mistake.

Hope that helps :bows:
