hexagram 14 lines 2 and 5 becoming hexagram 13

following on again from my last thread i asked the i ching'will i be reunited with this person soon...the answer i received was hexagram 14 lines 2 and 5 becoming hexagram 13...can anyone help with the appropriate interpretation of this...means a lot to me and i would be very grateful, many thanks, sparkler

Reunited? Yeah, but for the sake of fellowship rather than relationship.

Or: yeah, in a social context.

hi dobro...thanks for that...i know hexagram 13 talks of fellowship...but that is pretty good is'nt it?...and one of the subheadings of this hexagram in my wilhelm book is''beloved'...think it can in some cases refer to two people...what do you think? i think of 14 as referring to a spiritual relationship...if i am wrong please put me right on this...thanks... sparkler

I think you're projecting like crazy. You want these hexagrams to be about relationship and you want them to be positive, so that's what you're seeing. (In fact, Hex 13 has nothing to do with romance overtly, and Hex 14 has nothing to do with relationship overtly.)

So, what's to be learned here? Well, the obvious - how much you want this relationship to work and be positive along the lines of your wishful thinking. In other words, love's making you blind. It's been done before lol.
