Hexagram 19 for Legal Troubles

I have been going through some legal trouble for the past few months, and, as my court date draws near, things don't seem to be going my way. So, I decided to do a reading on a particular question: what the result would be if I used my specific pranayama based visualization technique to achieve a favorable outcome?

Prior to my last meeting with my lawyer, I had great confidence that things would go well, but recent discussion has created doubt. I used the three coin method and received Hexagram 19 Approaching

I sort of latched on to the positive segment about how, according to Huang, Lin/approaching represents immediate and positive action, but the misfortune in the eighth month bothers me.

The sequence of the Gua also seemed especially telling.

When many things have happened and been remedied, one can approach greatness

This seems to confirm my suspicion that this is the right move, but the last few lines in the decision are troubling:
Ending in the eighth month;
Misfortune comes.

I didn't really understand the Commentary at all. I don't understand the role of the "superior person" and their willingness to teach. Could that be my lawyer? I didn't figure he would play into a spiritual exercise, but who's to say.

Can anyone else shed some light on this? Any responses are appreciated.

I've read it somewhere that when you receive 19 unchanging, the bad aspect of the 8 month doesn't materialise- so you get only the positive aspect - i.e. influence is nearing.

I don't see the thumbs up symbol yet; so, thanks for the tip! I appreciate it.

Things have gotten pretty stressful for me and my relationships with others; so, I decided to ask the Oracle if a change in my visualization routine would be helpful. The exact question was:
What if I switch my visualization from a favorable legal outcome to peace and harmony in my life in order to resolve more problems at once?

The answer was Hexagram 59 with a 9 at the first line and a 6 at the fourth.
If I take 59 to be my current situation, then things my problems are likely already dispersing; however, I don't understand the changing lines.
Second Nine
Dispersing
Hurrying to an opportune moment
Regret vanishes

Fourth Six
Dispersing one's group.
Supreme Good fortune
Dispersing brings a mound
Beyond Common people's imagination

According to Huang, the Second changing line could represent the need to rescue a situation from dispersing; to act in accordance with the time. The Fourth changing line represents supreme good fortune. I don't know how to apply these changing lines to my situation.

The relating figure seems bad. Hexagram 12 Hindrance seems to speak for itself. The Decision clearly delineates an unpreventable hindrance and that the great is going and the little coming. So, it would seem that things are already on the right track, and any further changes would be unfavorable.

Am I way off? I'm not sure what to make of this. Any additional advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

I had forgotten about a query to the Oracle that may shed more lit on this issue. 27.1.2.5>59
I take 27 as a time for looking at my nourishment and the first changing line as a reminder to look to my spiritual nourishment.
I see six at second as a further calling to my "shrine" because I have lost sight of my standards. I see six at fifth as advice to stay still, which I did.
I see the potential Hexagram as the likely outcome. So, perhaps turning to my spiritual practice is allowing my difficulty to disperse, and any deviation from my current action could result in more trouble.
I wish I had found this casting earlier, but it is a little reassuring.

If anyone has any advice to add, I would greatly appreciate it.

Your legal action is making you very tense and that's the way it is with legal actions . . .

Your meditation and visualization practices are a great help to you. Continue what you were doing for the most benefit. That is the best way you can help yourself.

I hate to refresh a thread like this, but I'm still trying to activate the thumbs up symbol thingy. Plus, I didn't say it before: thanks for your feedback!

The changing situation has prompted me to follow up on this post. My legal case has been going on for some time, and now the DA wants to offer me a significantly better deal than before. As I understand it, the offer is a pretrial diversion to the lesser included charge (B Misdemeanor). There are, however, problems with this offer. First, I would have to stay in my current county for another year. Second, there is a up front fine of 500 dollars followed by a monthly charge of 60 dollars for the duration (a year). Next, there is also the possibility of community service as well. Further, this also prevents me from pursuing a job opportunity that I've mentioned in other posts. The last consideration is simply how offensive it is that I've had to spend thousands of dollars in lawyer fees before being offered a probation-like deal that will cost me 1300 dollars or so, and I haven't even done anything wrong. So, I started by asking the Yi what the result would be if I accepted the deal.

I got Hexagram 2 Unchanging. I'm not really sure how to take this. Does this mean that the "Receptive," or yielding, will bring about "sublime success"? Is this advice to go with the flow? I'm really not to certain about this. Since I was still in doubt about my situation, I asked a clarifying question: what will be the result if I reject the DA's offer?

I got 25.1.6>45. I took this answer to mean that "Innocence," or the lack of guile, brings "Supreme success." I've been having trouble with the changing lines, though. They seem to be completely contradictory. On the one hand, Nine at first seems to mean that if I proceed with a pure heart things will go well, but the other had, Nine at the top seems to indicate that innocent action will lead to "misfortune." Does this mean that I need to remain guileless and wait things out? The relating figure, Hexagram 45, seems to be speaking of the possibility of gathering people together as in a trial, a trial that will seemingly end well. I would really appreciate any additional feedback anyone is able to provide that would shed light on this situation.

It took nearly three years for this to resolve, but it did eventually resolve in my favor. Many of the readings indicated I needed to avoid rushing into things; so I didn't push for a jury trial. The DA had to correct the indictment and try again. She made the mistake of letting me speak at the grand jury.

The grand jury wouldn't indict for the felony, but they did indict for the misdemeanor. I was very gentle at the hearing, and I was careful to avoid being contentious, angry, or snarky. Because the charge was downgraded, my case moved from district court to county court. The county DA had me do 40 hrs of community service then dropped the charges. I had them expunged for maybe 500 dollars.

This was actually resolved last year, but I was browsing the shared readings stickies and decided to post a follow up. I plan to do so for my other posts as well.
