i know i will be lambasted for this qu but the nature of the hexagram intrigued me.

The qu « does x hold any feelings for me »

i do not want to unite with this person nor see any future for any romance. i am just intrigued to know if what i felt on a subtle level was infact true (i felt an unspoken bond)

On first sight it appears as a no. hex 2 is passive and hex 62 well not full of bubbling emotions, thats for sure.

But after having read the two changing lines, could this imply the person has feelings but will never act on them and are keeping those hex 16 feelings hidden.

I’d love to hear your thoughts

thanks guys

Or could it mean that my inner deeper qualities are not recognised and my inner light is hidden to this person.

the person could be the king who I am in service to (I do work for him) who had worldly success and Doesn’t recognise my higher qualities

it's tough to say, first of all asking Yi even about my own feelings doesn't usually provide that much clarity, feelings on their own can be difficult to interpret, as they're quite elusive. and then the fact it's about x, makes it that much harder to read into... it's not to say i haven't asked such questions myself

2.3 usually tells me to restrain display of either feelings or accomplishments. so maybe x feels some restraint? 2.4 generally shows up for me when something's not being said (zipping my mouth doesn't mean i won't unzip it later at some point) or advises me then not to say something. so i'd read it as he's not saying what he really feels. 62 as the context is excess of smallness, lots of little things, nothing grand. this hex advises for the bird to stay low, remain grounded and not to strive up for heights.

btw, i had 2.3 recently when i wanted to share something but the line made me realise i would be sharing it for wrong reasons, it wouldn't be modest or fully authentic (2.3 changes to 15), so in this context maybe that's the feeling x holds and generally x accepted (2) to keep it low(key) - 62 for now?

What a great combo we make - Lettuce and Legume!

i know it is very difficult to read the answer to these type of qus but your reading is pretty impressive and very on point. i received 9 unchanging too, so definitely restraint going on x

thanks for taking the time to respond Legume
