hexagram 24.4.6 to 21. What is so misfortunate from within and without?

Dear all

I have been out of work following a burnout for two months now.I hated my old job. I have diligently resumed work research, re-connected with everybody on Linkedin, gathering ideas for a startup, contacting friends, etc.
there was an opening with a woman who told me that we should meet, and I asked the Iching what would have been the outcome: 44 unchanging which I interpreted as positive! (incidentally we work on gender issues and when i see "do not take that woman" it makes me giggle a bit...)
. Yet three days passed and I asked the Iching why she hadn't contacted me and I received 44.2 to 33. OMG did she find someone else for the position? Did she change her mind about me?

I have started panicking. I asked about the employment outlook in the next months and I received 24.4.6 to 21. Why so ominous?

It's been a long shot of unhappiness and I am really trying to do it right!

But why do 24.6 seem so negative?

I want to stick to the original hex 44. It could very well mean the beginning of a new era of working solo!

24.6 is about loss of timing, loss of cosmic harmony. Failure to act while signs are auspicious.

Hi Pocossin! Just checking in because after two long weeks of calling, I managed to get hold of this person!

Incidentally I found out the reason for 44.2. She was acting as intermediary towards a client in search for a journalist.

If you take Legge's "There is a fish in the tank. No blame. Does not further guests". it was in this case a pretty straightforward answer from the Iching. The client/guest did not like my profile. She did and we are now in contact for other assignments.

I did not have all the information back then!
