Hexagram 24

OK, here's my story in a nutshell..

I'm in a very unhappy relationship. The other person is very unhappy as well. I think the best thing is for us to go our own separate ways. Now, I've also met someone else. This other person entered my life very suddenly. However, there isn't anything between us yet...but I feel that there could be. So, with that in mind I've been asking the oracle questions. One hexagram I keep getting is 24 (2 as well..but this thread deals with 24). Here's a rundown...

(X is my current partner and Y is the possible future partner)

Where is all of this leading with Y?
Answer: 24 (no changing lines)

How does X feel about me?
Answer: 24 (no changing lines)

How does Y feel about me?
Answer: 51.4 -> 24

What do you think? Incidently, both myself and Y are childless. (I already mentioned this in another thread..but I thought I'd include it here again since it deals with 24) I know that Y would like children and I would as well...so, I asked the following question:

Tell me about Y, myself and children in our future.

Answer:
2.1 -> 24

So, 24 just keeps coming up.

to tell you something.

I considered that. However, I already know I need a change....so it wouldn't be telling me something I don't already know. That's why I'm puzzled.

However...I have some thoughts of my own:

Wilhelm's commentary states,

"The time of darkness is past."

and...

"After a time of decay comes the turning point. The powerful light that has been banished returns."

I did feel that my present relationship was destroying me..decaying me. In fact, at one point I felt like my life was over and that all I was going to do was...decay. Interestingly, it was at that lowest point that this other person suddenly appeared. After that, things seemed to get better for me psychologically. I had indeed reached (and passed I think) the turning point.

I wasn't trying to find anyone else...this other person as I said, just suddenly appeared. In fact, there was such a powerful synchronicity surrounding this other person's appearance that it made a believer in such things out of a hard-core skeptic. Now, I don't know what ROLE this other person is playing...and I can only speculate.

I might be very wrong, but I don't think that It will only tell you things you don't know. There is a lot to be learned from the things we already 'know', I think.

The hexagrams you keep getting seem very positive to me, yes. This new person in your life might be a big turning point or not. In any case, I think he might already have brought you something very positive: HOPE.

When I see all these 24's, to all questions, then I think the Yi is telling you to find yourself back, before you start anything else. First find your own road, the one you belong on, and only then you can add other 'things', like relations, children, emotional ties.

Well, I think I've already done that...found myself back. In fact, I think Jung spoke about a connection between individuation (I think that's the word he used) and synchronicity. The synchronicity involved in meeting this person came JUST as I was starting to find myself again after several years wandering around who knows where...
