Hi All!

Usually I don't ask the "When" question as I know I will have problems understanding the answer. But today my curiosity won... I asked simply "When will x happen?"

I got Hex 25 unchanging... Is there any season associated with this hexagram or is the message something like "when you least expect it"?

Thanks so much for your help!

Unexpectedly, but as it should.

edit: but it's also associated with Spring. Lot of turbulence going on in the land of potentials.

There is a line in hexagram 25 which says something to the effect, "not counting on the harvest when planting..." In other words, let it be, it wil happen when it is time to happen....unexpectedly.

Thank you so much for your help. I figured I Ching just didn't want to give me a date... and I had my calendar ready!! Ah well:)

I'll try to just "let it be" but sometimes it's really hard.

sorry, no good news here, it won't happen or it will be much later than you expect.

Interesting interpretation, Gato... So how did I get a "No" answer to "When" question. Just wondering...

it's complicated, but take my answer as a point of view.

Thank you. I just found a very good thread about Hexagram 25. Malka makes an observation that I now see may apply also to me (and it does tie in with Gene's comment):

"I'm reading 25 as a clear suggestion to simply stay in the moment as it is, and to respond naturally and innocently with whatever arises. To be without entanglement is to let go of emotional demands or desires, and to just be. My hunch is that the Yi isn't answering your question directly, but is giving you advise to let go of the question, to be free from motives of the ego (such as - "I" want to know how he feels) and that it is through this innocent place of no-ego that we become successful." http://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/friends/showthread.php?t=2971

Though I have to admit that I hope it will unexpectedly happen this spring ;)
