I've been reading and reading different interpretations of hexagram 25.

The gist I am getting is that this hexagram is about being present in your day to day, enjoying life as it comes to you, being sincere in the things that you do, that everything happens for a reason, to follow your heart and spirit, to always be righteous, to accept what comes to us and make the best of it.

Am I correct in understanding what I have read? Anything incorrect or anything that I have missed that would give me a more complete understanding?

Thanks!!

In case you're interested, below is a previous thread about Hex. 25

Looking at 25 in a very broad and very, very general way: here you have thunder below, connected to heaven above - without pretext, without pretentiousness, making direct connections, being wthout entanglements, spontaneously reacting ....

But I don't think it's about 'enjoying life as it comes to you', 'that everything happens for a reason', 'to always be righteous, to accept what comes to us'. Those read more like a new age scout motto to me.

But I'd say that to know what 25 is 'about' - to get a more complete understanding - it's always best to consider it within the context of a particular Yi answer, which is in response to a specific query or question - and this is true for all the hexagrams and there 'parts' - lines, text, trigrams, etc ....

To paraphrase something I once read, 'Hypothetical situations are the antithesis of ... magic'.
