Hello :)

Well, before going further into it, what I asked was "What do I need to know about myself now?" And got hex. 28 lines 4 and 5.

You see, I've been deeply unsettled lately. I've come to a place in life where quite literally I need to know who I am and also what I need to change to make the crisis I went through heal. Maybe it's why I got hex. 28 too. I have to grow and be a better person or my happiness will continue to be far away from me.

Line 4 - What I got from it is that I shouldn't go way beyond limits or I'll only bring shame upon myself. Or that I am doing this already and that's why I'm currently like this.

Line 5 - Just escapes me. I'm young and very much single so I can't take it literally.

Also asked "What I need to know about my life now." Got Hex. 2 lines 5 and 6

Think it also reflects on the previous question because I am doing line 6 now, by fighting against everything and everyone, but I really shouldn't as I should be receptive about it, line 5 I guess. Don't know, maybe.

I need some help please?

Hey Indidgo,

"What do I need to know about myself now?"
I think your right Line 4 is probably just a reflection of where you are now - things are sufficient and perhaps 'safe' in your old way of doing things but you feel there's gotta be 'something' more than this to life, perhaps and Line 5 is a time of renewal of the start of the flowering of the new you but nothing that makes you feel like there is a major shift within.
Hex 46 suggest you moving forward but it may well be a good idea to get some help such as counselling or some other healing modality to help you heal not just this moment you feel in crisis but heal you so you don't experience the same sort of crisis again.

"What I need to know about my life now."

Line 5 - you have inner beauty that shines through just allow that, not everyone will see because not everyone is receptive to it (some people are scared of the inner beauty of others).

Line 6 - yep you are resistant to the changes that need to take place - I have seen this is many friends and clients of mine but the ones who don't resist are the ones that move forward and really create the life they want. Not always easy to make the changes but totally worth it in the long run.

Hope this helps - be joyous Liss

Hello Indigo

Your thinking seems sound to me r.e. 28 to answer your question head on.

You see, I've been deeply unsettled lately. I've come to a place in life where quite literally I need to know who I am and also what I need to change to make the crisis I went through heal. Maybe it's why I got hex. 28 too. I have to grow and be a better person or my happiness will continue to be far away from me.

Line 5 can be a mental cliff hanger, I know what you mean. I think of it as something mundane and purely according to your tastes, such as: do I want a lemon or lime ice cone? Or maybe something warm instead. You know? They're inconsequential choices. I don't see the negative connotation that some author's do. It's just that neither is it much help during an unstable time; not unless there's future potential, as in line 2.

So there's a letting go, because stress is one of the things that break down our body, and stress often develops from a need feel in control. I think that's where your h2 and it's two contrasting lines come in. One lets go, the other can't seem to. I think the relating is h50? Refinement of your emotions and thoughts through openness and endurance. A good house must first have a good foundation. To quote an old gospel song: "when I need a shelter, when I need a friend, I go to the rock." It doesn't say I go to the sagging roof. :)

Dear indigo,

Your reading (28.4.5) is saying that you are putting too much pressure on yourself. What you want to achieve in life sounds really good, but the stress that you are going through just seems to be approaching breaking point. Your relating hexagram (46 Pushing Upward) is also showing all the effort that you are putting to reach your personal goals. You should not worry so much, because you are already making progress towards what you want. But the pressure is working against you, not to your benefit.

"What I need to know about my life now." Got Hex. 2 lines 5 and 6

Then you have this fine complement to your reading asking you to be less proactive and more receptive. Instead of pushing harder and harder, try to contemplate a little more, have an overview of the whole situation you are in, be more observant (your relating hexagram is 20). So, you become more receptive to all the impressions you are receiving, let go of the fighting, and even though this process is less spectacular, more discreet, and still you will be growing as you want and adding the refinement to the person that you want to be.

Hope that helps:bows:

Really sorry for the late reply :bag:

I thank you all very much for answering my questions and giving me good advice. As I'm starting to learn, sometimes it's best we become receptive towards what other people have to say. I really need to stop being so stubborn :D

Wish everyone much light,
indigo
