hexagram 30 unchanging: solidifying a relationship

Hi all,
I'm in what I consider to be the happiest relationship of my life, and it's been nearly 8 months. still early days, but I hope with all my heart that it will last. I drew Hexagram 30 unchanging today after affirming my desire to solidify this relationship into a permanent one (I really see myself being able to commit for good to this one). I've always found 30 enigmatic and curious and am not sure how to interpret it, but feel like it encourages me to persist and to "cling" to my partner, as it were? Any interpretations would be most appreciated...I don't want to precipitate things or place too much pressure on it, but we have both said that we see this as a long-term thing, or at least hope that it will be. The hexagram in question I think is very positive in this situation. The text says, "care of the cow brings good fortune." In other words, take care of the relationship and it will take care of you. The commentary mentions that the middle lines in each trigram is a yin line from "The receptive," and that is what you need to be, receptive to the situation. The two of you should be able to harmonize very well and that will be like a "light" shining in your hearts.

Thanks for this and glad to hear you’ve had an auspicious reading on your blossoming relationship, too. Just an update: we were married this past October, and in our vows we both referenced hexagram 53 and the image of two old growth trees growing together (another hex I’d pulled repeatedly when asking about this relationship). The wisdom of the Yi has been, I believe, crucial to my ring patient and caring and careful in all the ways needed to nurture and strengthen it. Pretty incredible. My situation has required a lot of patience because Mr. X is getting a divorce. (He wanted one before we ever met.) But I just cast 30 U.C. again today, and things have been improving between us. We'll see.
