Hi!
Last week I was feeling isolated because I don't meet many people since the covid and my job is quite lonely. Sure I know a few people but I don't see them often or we're not really on the same page even if we can get along. I would like to meet someone to build an intimate relationship with and give them tenderness and affection so I was very direct and asked the Yi:

"What is the potential to having sex (make love) with a woman before the end of the year?" He came out with hexagram 38.4.6 with the perspective hexagram 19

THE JUDGMENT
OFFPOSITION.
In small things, good fortune.
When people live in opposition and estrangement, they cannot accomplish a great enterprise together; their points of view diverge too widely, for this would limit the increase to produce gradual effects in small things. Here there is still hope for
success, for the situation is such that opposition does not prevent all agreement.

In general, opposition appears to be an obstruction, but when it represents polarity within the whole, it also has its useful and important functions. The oppositions of heaven and earth, of spirit and nature, of man and woman, when reconciled, lead to the creation and reproduction of life. In the world of visible things, the principle of opposites allows differentiation into categories through which order is brought into the world.

THE PICTURE
Above, the fire; below, the lake:
The image of OPPOSITE.
Thus in the midst of all brotherhood
The superior man retains his individuality.

The two elements, fire and water, never mix but, even in contact, retain their own nature. Thus, the cultured man is never led to baseness or vulgarity by relations or community of interests with people of another kind, regardless of any mixture, he will preserve his individuality.

The images belonging to the trigrams, whose tendencies fight each other, create the conditions for opposition, while their attributes lead to overcoming it. The joy of Tui symbolizes communion; the clarity of Li symbolizes clearly recognizable individuality.

The reason why the two daughters tend to oppose each other is that the elder, whose authority would maintain order, is absent.

-William

Line 4:
Legge: The dynamic fourth line shows his lonely subject in the midst of the surrounding disunity. But he meets the good man represented by the first line, and they mix their sincere desires. The position is perilous, but there will be no mistake.

Wilhelm/Baynes: Isolated by opposition, one meets a like-minded man with whom one can associate in good faith. Despite the danger, no blame.

Blofeld: After suffering from estrangement and loneliness, she met an admirable husband and a mutual trust developed between them -- inconvenience, but no mistake!

(FROMCAFÉAUSOUL) Isolated and alone one meets a partner = high risk but no blame. Goes to (41) Decrease. While the situation creates isolation, you find someone with whom you share an intimate connection and affinity. The isolation or opposition was necessary to open you up to this new connection that can lead to great accomplishments.

Line 6:
Legge: The dynamic sixth line shows its lonely subject amidst the surrounding disunity. In the subject of the third line, he seems to see a pig carrying a load of mud on its back, or imagines that there is a car full of ghosts. He first bends his bow against it, then unfolds it, for he discovers that it is not an assailant to injure, but a close relative. In the future he will meet the beneficial rain, and he will be lucky.

Wilhelm/Baynes: Isolated by opposition, one sees his companion as a pig covered with dirt, as a cart full of devils. First you draw a bow against him, then you put the bow aside. He is not a thief; he will run at the right time. As he does, the rain falls; then good fortune comes.

Blofeld: Wandering far and lonely, he saw a boar covered in mud and a cart loaded with demons. He first bent his bow, then set it aside. This is not an obstacle but a matter of engagement causing delay or hesitation. If rain is encountered while conducting business, good fortune will follow.

(FROMCAFÉAUSOUL) Isolated, one sees the companions as pigs and devils, drawing the bow and then putting it aside = there are no enemies but love. After the rain, all rejoice. Changes to (54) Property. Disagreements may cause you to look at others, but misunderstandings are resolved. Steps toward union can only be achieved by allowing oneness, opposition and then acceptance to flow in its natural cycle, like rain. Authenticity is not sacrificed so that a deeper affection can develop. The opposition revealed differences that are now appreciated for what they are, and thus good fortune.

From my reading, Hexagram 38 shows the differences of opinion I have with the people I meet and that through this opposition, I am unable to connect with others to a deeper, more intimate connection,
but lines 4 and 6 seem to bode well and turn things around. Line 4 mentioning after the isolation the possibility of a trusting and intimate encounter among all that isolation. However, I don't understand why danger is mentioned here but not blame? Could it be due to something spontaneous, an opportunity that arises, hence the expression of danger? In line 6, it tells me that the people I see/have around me as potential enemies are not and want the best for me (so maybe some women are interested in me and I can't see it), hence the expression bend the bow, then put it down. Hexagram 19 The approach perhaps indicating in the background that something is going on or that I need to rethink my approach to women who consider me.

Here, I think I got a clear reading but feel free to comment so I can continue to refine my interpretations. any feedback is more than welcome. Thank you very much
