Hexagram 55. Broke up one year ago

New to I ching.

Can people please help to interpret for me ?

My ex girlfriend left me one year ago. Will we reconcile?

I got Hexagram 55.

Have a shot at it. Look around the forum or in your books....what are you picking up about 55uc in this context ? How would you apply it to your question ? Have a go at it, tell us what you feel about the answer and what you think it might be saying. The more you actively engage with the answer the more the answer can yield. You know the background and the context and so your take on the answer is paramount really.

I have no idea what advice hexagram 55 is giving.
I did some google search on it. It did mention 'MID SUN'.
And mid sun is only a temporary period.. so i am thinking to cherish the moment when my ex comes back and not take for granted.

However this might be my wishful thinking that she will come back.

Can someone please give me guidance on this reading?

In my personal experience, 55 unchanging shows that a relationship is unequivocally over. And yet 55 contains the advice "be not sad", so I believe you'll manage to be happy again with someone else. Wishing you good luck.

It is 55 with changing lines.

Well if there are changing lines then you need to tell us what they are otherwise how can we offer help interpreting ?

Also why would you Google when you can use the search function on this website where there is a huge amount on 55 Use the search function and hexagram index

Actually my first thought is have you tried to get her back ? 55 is a time when all that is required to go ahead to undertake something is there. The sun at noon is as bright as it gets. The sun can be eclipsed of course as the lines show and then taking action can seem confusing and nigh impossible as in line 3 and can mean waiting till things become a bit clearer...But overall whether she comes back may depend on whether you have gone after her to tell her you want her back ? "No time like the present " might be a good saying for 55. Have you tried to get her back or not ? That is what this depends on. If you have and she's not responsive that's your answer but if you haven't how do you know ?

I paid for a Iching reading on one famous website.

I was given 10. Then i cast a changing line to 25.
My pdf report shows 55.

Now how does these three hexagram link???

I did have an interpretation.
The interpretation is 10 to 25.
Then they sent me a pdf report says i got a hexagram 55.

The website contains the name oscar.

I am kind of suspicious, what kind of rubbish computerised report did they give me. Wasted my money and time. Preying on people who are in need of help.

Yes. I will learn to cast a reading myself. I dont trust any famous website anymore.

You can trust some I Ching websites, starting with this one. You can go to the I Ching reading section and get a free reading by yourself. The site will give you the answer and the relevant texts. Then you can come here to share your answer.
