Hexagram 61 to 20 end result for a proyect

I just asked about the end result of a project that I am handling that is worring me a little. i got the 61 with mutation on 1 and 2 transforming into 20

61 talks about honesty, sincerity, loyalty as a way to achieve a goal and line 1 talk about trust yourself as the way to gain fortune and line 2 is about sincerity, and how it comes from inside

However, I never had understand too much 20, which talks about meditation so I do not understand how to apply it to my question.

Had you done previous readings about this? I've sometimes gotten 61.1 when I'd already asked Yi about it, and then I asked some more, and Yi was telling me it had already "guided" me, and more questions weren't going to help.

I will share with you, pouring it all out.’

This is often a lovely, reassuring line to get!

I did have one example, though, where it was just plain practical advice, meaning call and response and the order in which things must happen. I posted about it here.

You're right, hexagram 20 can mean meditation or contemplation. I've had it where Yi was suggesting I keep doing more research (looking, thinking), although in your case, since it's in combination with 61.1, it seems maybe less likely that it's telling you to keep doing more. I think 20 can also mean getting an broader overview, more of a bird's-eye view of something.

Going back to 61.1 - even if you hadn't done other readings, had you already made a plan for finishing your project? Maybe the reading as a whole is saying, "Stick with your original plan (61.1), but the steps to finishing have to happen in a certain order (61.2)." Does that make any sense?

[Edited] The relating hexagram is usually the background to the situation, how you're relating to it. Another possibility for hexagram 20 here might be that you're thinking about this (worrying about it) too much - over-thinking it? Maybe it's telling you to step back from it and just watch and observe and let the process work?

Yes, I consulted before and got 54 49, 5 line mutated.
You are right I don't think it means to do more research and it is maybe looking at the whole picture.
This is a very special project, the one that change your life and it is into a point that you had done everything possible and depends of another person to decide if he wants to continue taking the project into the next step.
Yes, it makes a lot of sense your comment of sticking to The original plan and yes, the steps to finish have to happen in certain order.
You are so good interpreting this, thank you for yor kind comments. I never understand 20 when i get it. I am overthinking and over-judging me, if I Have done enough or not, if this will work or not.
I will let things flow and what happen will happen because there is not something else I can do that I have not done already and it is in someone else hands.

Oh good, I'm glad you think it fits. Sometimes the person who is actually in the situation will come back and say it doesn't make sense, and of course they're there and we're not.

And I think just because this is the reading Yi gave you, it is saying that is okay to do . Even if it happens not to work out the way you'd like, I think Yi is affirming that you've done all you can, which is really all any of us can ever do, and that you should not blame yourself or have regrets if it doesn't end up as you'd like. You can take comfort from that, I think.

I just noticed that the 54.5 > 49 reading you said you cast must be misrecorded. If you received hexagram 54 with only line 5 as the moving line, it changes to hexagram 58, not hexagram 49. In order for 54 to change to 49, lines 2, 3, and 5 must all change.
