I find iching very useful and I love that my friends are aware of this valuable tool. I did a reading for a friend (requested by her) about a new guy she likes, asking if he reciprocated and came out 62.5> 31. (you know that I am a beginner, trying to learn) it seems to me that 31 is positive but 62 that you can only do small things. I find line 62.5 very enigmatic. What do thick clouds but no rain mean? something that is piling up? the unripe time? Is the cave and the arrow a sexual allusion or is there much more? eager to hear your views

When one is thirsty, one notices the thickness of the far off heavy clouds.
It means the rain is not here yet.

It is Not always a sexual metaphor,
but maybe here, this time, it is?

The guy in the cave....
may not be the ideal one for matrimony...
but he is available & accessible.

So, in the context of the question,
which was about the guys feelings,
show a less than ideal situation,
but the guy would go for it.
It's Like closing time at a bar though,
hooking up...
it's like a plan B, instead of an ideal.

So, does she want someone who would see her as a less-than-ideal choice?
Probably not, because we thrive on love not simply on the convenience that we may feel a relationship offers during a pandemic.

So, now back to the tricky part:
was the reading about her attitude or his?

Luckily! This is a situation & reading where the right path can be discerned either way. As her counelor,

counsel her against it.

wow .. the question was more about the potential of this knowledge. apparently it sounds more like an adventure, or friends with benefits. hexagram 31 reinforces the idea of line 5 rather than representing courtship... I had interpreted it in a more optimistic way with the resulting 31 .. but I'm a beginner

instead of a wedding feast,
generally speaking.

(I am a father who raised three girls,
so whenever I do a relationship reading,
I do it as if it were for one of them:
with their health and happiness in mind.
This reading doesn't really show happiness, 62 is often about lowering one's expectations or reaching grasp)
