Hi again to all dear online clarity seekers,

As a direct person which has zero diplomacy against energy thieves, I need your help for interpreting this casting.
By energy thief I mean those people which steal attention and time in gatherings, and smell the ones which do not like them
I asked about a specific person and how I should treat them : hexagram 64.2.3.6 > 62.
My own take is that a time comes that not just me but some other people in our circle will oppose them (line 2 and 3) which will bring an enforced change in their behavior (line 6), though patience and temperance are called for.
This interpretation might be far off! But well, that's how I see it :) I look forward to your comments.

Well this might be correct, but don't forget that the Yi tends to just speak About yourself and your situation as well! You are the one who threw the coins.

How to treat a special person? It really depends on all the circumstances. With 64, you are advised to be very diligent, especially with 62 as a related hexagram. To put everything on place; to be correct, even in small things, and to correct things which have gone wrong. The lines then might tell you how to do best.

Thank you mandarin_23,

I wonder what is there to correct, we are all members of a club and this person is not someone I would voluntarily interact with. They tend to talk a looot and somehow even talk instead of other people which have a turn. I hace seen people which snatch my time but taking it rudely is new. Given that I do not see an answer here. What is the goal here?

Best to you,

I am seeing something a little different.

I agree with mandarin_23, you threw the coins; it's your reading. That said, I "hear" you are to continue in scrupulously correct behavior, and that may include bringing up the need to revisit any "group agreement" on how things are to go. Do not single anyone out. Similarly, do not judge them ("energy thieves") either. Just ask for a public discussion of the rules going forward, which should win you support from others.

I think the group is rapidly reaching a point where there is going to be a shift in the situation. I'm thinking this disruptive person will leave or something will happen - maybe someone else will tell them to keep still! - so the I Ching is encouraging you to hang in there, continue to be polite, etc.
64.6 Particularly emphasizes the importance of you maintaining propriety. Don't blow your good reputation!

Sounds like a plan :zen:

Well rosada, you offered a different approach. though it is interesting that the three of you agree on the need of keeping good manners from my side. I am curious now to see how the group dynamics change in the near future and if it is necessary that I actively suggest a discussion of the rules...

At the same time - and I hope this is not an odd thing to ask in our forum - I would love to have your ideas about my other recently posted thread here. If you have some time and are interested of course.

Many thanks,
P.
