hexagram 9.1.2>53

Hello to all,

I asked "what are M's intentions with me?" I received 9.1.2>53. I'm not sure how to read this... things seem to be going quite well, better, but slow. The slow part might be me being hesitant as I do not want to feel heartache again. I have been trying my best to stay on my spiritual path and I have been more at peace. Relationships are not something I am good at, at least not romantic ones. I have a tendency of running away out of fear of being hurt before actually being hurt or working anything out. Do I read this as 53 is where we are at? Making gradual progress and we may one day marry? With 9.1.2 being I need to maintain a small restraint and stay true to my own path? Or do I read this as M is staying true to their path, keeping small restraints and intends to make gradual progress with me? It may sound silly, but I am never too happy when I get hexagram 9. 53 however is another story. Thank you for your insight and taking the tine to read. Hee hee, I am pretty sure it does NOT mean you will eventually marry (remember, the iChing is not a fortune telling device it helps you seek inner truth and understand the present), I like the smiley you posted along with that . Anyways, I think I can easily formulate an interpretation. Unfortunately I really have to go right now, I am just posting to let you know I am here and to bump your board so that hopefully other more experienced and knowledgeable iChing followers come by. I am really curious about your past experiences with 9 . 53. I hope you will share but understand if you do not. Anyways, I will be back soon.

I've been trying to meditate on this at times and other times just allowing it to all unfold how it will. I have my favorite hexagrams, as silly as that may sound. There are times where I get a particular hexagram and I am so relieved, like floating in a calm, warm ocean. Other hexagrams I receive I am jumping for joy, like finally!! Everythings great. Then there are those when I receive them I'm a bit bummed because I know there is work to be done. Sometimes a whole lot of work, other times a little bit of work. At least I didn't get 29 or 4. But I prefer, 32,53,11,35,2, or even 1

I was joking when I said 53 meant we would eventually marry, hence the tongue sticking out. However, 53 is indeed a great relationship hexagram, great for marriage and love. If one is willing to take things step by step, put in the work, it is very slow gradual progress, but very auspicious, I have had in times of being mutually in love, content, on the same page, with the same goals in mind. But its rare I receive it unchanging.

When I get 9 it means to me there is work to be done, things or people may not be in their proper position, there is little feeding, makes me think of a mouse feeding a lion, the small feeds the big, but they do learn to play and get along together. So you have to restrain yourself in. order to enhance or work on yourself so that you will be ready when. the. time is right. Indicating the time is not quite right to make progress. towards the goal you are intending on accomplishing. You may proceed smoothly, but everything is sort of uncertain, so if you make progress or not who knows. You are yearning, in suspense.

As for lines 1 and 2 it seems to say trust needs to be built. Its a time to work on ourselves for now. I think its mutual.
