My question was "how is the Yi used where you live in China".
Is it for simple fortune telling or is there more serious study
of the deeper meanings of the text? Are you part of a network
of friends who take the book seriously? Do people use little pocket
versions in simplified characters? Is the big Zhouyi Zhezhong out
of reach to anybody who can't read traditional characters? Or has
all of this been redone in simplified characters? Is deeper study
generally available? We don't even hear rumors about these things.
It would be nice to know how the Yi is doing in its homeland.
