I'm reconstructing the pre I Ching oracles Lien Shan and Kuei Ts'ang. I'm sure, that some of my reseach will interest many of You. I'm writing on an online blog; please check it:

I hope to get response/critique and look foreward to discuss matters with You; and maybe find someone interested in future coorperation?
Enjoy!

It looks nice, but I miss sources and references. Without that I cannot accept your material, after all, these days so much is said about the Yi, but so little is justified with reliable sources.

I agree with Harman; especially since many of the links on your site suggest a tendency toward fantasy rather than scholarship.

To Harmen
My reference is I Ching: Shuo Kua
To heaven I assign the number 3 and to earth the number 2 and from these I compute the other numbers. I contemplate the changes in the dark and the light on the moon and establish the Kuas in accordance with them. I brought movements in the firm and the yielding by making the sixth line a changing line. The numbering of the past is a natural process and future is anticipation:
The 64 hexagrams are 64 numbers that You can count both the natural way and reversed ... 2, 3, 4, 5, etc. and 65, 64, 63, 62, etc. Exactly as told in my reference I Ching!

To Fyreflye
My links are linksexcanges and I discuss with people no matter their belief. I'm into shamanism and I find esspecially witches very kind and nice; they have surprised me in the positive way.

Hi Jacques

I enjoyed your writing immensely?

Agreeing with Harmen in that some of the things you state really need backing up? beautiful images that they are? and I really did enjoy your site.

Were the Yi material, you cite, to be ?true? then the implications for Yi scholarship would be immense?

I hang on to scholarship as it is an anchor? otherwise we might descend into a lost chaos?

However that same lost chaos is the very wonderful inner place that those Yi images become real and in their dream form take life and inform our heart?mind? like dreams and their interpretation.

Both are needed.

Oh, and as for shamanism? I expect you don?t really know the meaning of the term? Real Shamans (the ones that can deliver) are power brokers and are generally ?not so very nice people?? They generally kill others (particularly Shamans) and end up getting killed? in the real Shamanic world.

As someone who does travel to the other side regularly, I would say that hanging on to a concrete truth / world / sense of I and a rational sense, is the only way to come back to this side in one piece? You have not been there yet? So please don?t speak of it as if you have you just create more silly confusion.

This world/life is no friendly hippy zone you know? Everything eats and everything gets eaten? on both sides of the veil.

Food for thought? Until I too am eaten

I count 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - etc. and reversed, as told in I Ching Shuo kua. I'm concrete. I've explained the exact order of the hexagrams of both Lien Shan and Kuei Ts'ang. Shown You the pre orders in I Ching numbers. Hard to discuss with Your "I expect You don't really know ..." and unconcrete critique.

I try being very concrete:

You reconstruct the Kuei Ts'ang order of the hexagrams this way: We know, that Earth 2 was the first hexagram. I know, that the lines from above had the values 2 - 4 - 8 - 16 - 32, if they were opposite to the downline, that had value 2 (broken line).
When You change the upline, You make the hexagram 4 (2+2).
When You change the 2th line, You make the hexagram 6 (4+2).
When You change the 3th line, You make the hexagram 10 (8+2).
When You change the 4th line, You make the hexagram 18 (16+2).
When You change the 5th line, You make the hexagram 34 (32+2).
Heaven 3 was the second hexagram; the lines from above had the values 2 - 4 - 8 - 16 - 32, if they were opposite to the downline, that had value 3 (whole line).
When You change the upline, You make the hexagram 5 (2+3).
When You change the 2th line, You make hexagram 7 (4+3).
When You change the 3th line, You make hexagram 11 (8+3).
When You change the 4th line, You make hexagram 19 (16+3)
I think You now know how to continue reconstructing the nummerical order of the hexagrams from 2 to 65.
