home sweet home or back for work? 9.3.4.6>>58, 19.5>60

hi there again :)

I live in a city which is not my city, and all my family well just my Mom lives in another city, so I'm going home for Christmas. Since I am not working this year I would like to stay home quite a while, and enjoy the company of my Mom and elderly aunts whom I rarely see as I've been living in other cities for years and have always been home for short periods of time.

But a friend of mine proposed me to work as an "actress/performer" in a disco club on Jan 1st. It's not a lot of money but it's ok, I did it last year too though I felt a little uncomfortable it was funny and exciting (clubs are not my natural element but I was wearing a mask)

Home:
relax, be with mom and relatives, possibly interview distant relatives that I never met

Come back earlier to work:
70€

Is it a good decision to come back earlier to work at the club?
9.3.4.6>58

9= things are not mature for action, and the lines are pretty bad
58= enjoy, people.. (the club!)

It has to be said that if I accept this job I'll have to host my friend and her boyfriend for two nights. On the other hand if I remain home (at my Mom's home) they will have to find another place to sleep at.
And I'm not too keen on having them over as they're not actually friends.

What if I remain home for a long time? What can it give to me?
19.5>60

I should think 19.5 is a good line. Could this approach mean an approach to my Mom?
Finally I could stay home two full weeks in total relax and no stress (my Mom often gets stressed out when she knows I'm home for so little time, she gets nervous because she wants to spend all the minutes with me)
Could 60 mean that being home all this time I could learn to delimit my space and my Mom's (she tends to invade my space since she sees me not so often)

Any suggestions?

The literal title of 9 in Chinese is "acquiring and commanding limited (small) resources", which seems to echo the nominal pay you mentioned. So 9-3,4,6-58 seems to say "have righteous joy" plus some money.

19.5 is part of hex 19 that is literally describing "being t the front line", which implies a lot of in-person activities, communications...etc. Line 5 is usually the decision maker position. In this case, it may indicate leadership role of the conversations. Hex 60 has the theme of "restraint from excess". So I tend to associate this with lots of conversation with family and friends and you have good command of what to say and what not to say.

I am applying the IC literal text to the situation you were describing, and they seem to be pretty relevant, so I am sharing them for your references. I welcome other's additional input.

Even if the interpretation is appropriate, it still look like a tough decision for you to make :)

Thank you :)

So basically there's no suggestion against one or the other.. both quite positive?

it's even more difficult to decide :odd:

When I get 58 it's sometimes not the proper thing to do, I mean something very superficial (as a job in a club would be I suppose)

When I got 9 it has always meant that I lacked the skills to do something.
Here you are right it is acquiring small resources (as I won't be learning anything from this job) and commanding small resources (little money) (well not that little but anyway, little for being a Sunday!).

If 19 is being in the frontline then I suppose that going home and remaining there would be more sensible. I've had a couple of funerals last summer and family might need me.

I think I'm more inclined about remaining home in front of the fireplace, instead of spending the 31st and 1st with a couple that I barely know!

I've made my mind up!! :bows:

I'm home for the moment :)

I was thinking if that 19.5>60 restraint from excess is a fact (I won't be having much adventure here, especially for New Year's Eve) or a suggestion as in try to avoid any excess.

For the time being I still feel I don't want to host that couple I barely know in my bedroom in exchange for they having me work with them and get 70€.

thank you

Feedback :)

Was home almost 3 weeks. Everything was excellent, myMom even thanked me for staying so long!

I was indeed in the frontline as I organised New Year's EVe dinner putting together a bunch of 6 people not knowing each other.

I had no excesses: ate very light and little but I didn't made any effort to do it, it just came all natural.
+ spent many nights in front of the fireplace
