I created a password almost 2 years ago for a cryptocurrency presale. Unfortunately there's no mechanism in place to recover lost passwords. The password required different characters than my usual passwords. Normally for a unique password like this I would have saved an encrypted text file and emailed it to myself. Apparently I didn't do that this time.

I've tried variations of passwords I used around this time with no luck so far. I'm at a loss presently, so I consulted the Iching and received 7.2>2

I think 7 is telling me that I need to get things in order.

I could've perhaps written the password down back then but since have moved. Maybe I packed it away with other things and it's in storage.

Line 2 might be suggesting to be more open/receptive and it will come to me intuitively.

I only spent 30 dollars during the presale, so it isn't the end of the world if I can't recover it. Although it would be nice to get access. At the present exchange rate that purchase is worth nearly 1,000.

Line 7.2 says (looking at each character and possible translations),

"9 at 2,
master/model (keyword..?) - at the centre
lucky - no - blame
king - three - bestows/metal/tin/foil - order/command/life/fate"

Numbers at the edges and your usual password at the centre?
Your lucky number or your usual lucky password?
Something you have repeated 3 times?
Something to do with kings, tin/foil or light metal - and a computer command?

Just throwing ideas here, in case they ring a bell for you.

Ah ha!!! Yes!!! I figured it out! Thank you once again diamanda. ... you're always so helpful!

It was characters at the edges but the mention of "master/model (keyword..?) - at the centre" reminded me of the passphrase
