I received 1.3.5.6 > 54 to this question: how does he feel about contacting me?

Initially it seemed good having received the 1 hexagram which is divine and full of creative power, but I wonder about the negative 6 line? Does this mean he thinks I"M arrogant and he's not contacting me or what's holding him back? Because I'm guessing this is 54 ending means he has someone else in his life posing as "alpha female" and I don't have that much influence over his heart.

Any thoughts?

I then asked how he feels about his female "friend" who he is close with, that he was trying to reassure me about and who said negative things about me even though she doesn't know or hasn't met me. In response to the 54 hexagram I ended up with about how he felt about contacting I asked.

How does X feel about his friend?

and received 22.4.5 > 13

Lines 4 and 5 almost make it sound like he wants to marry her and they're totally besotted but 13 indicates a passionless relationship that is only platonic friends. Am I right on this?

trojan's link had a point, sometimes its unproductive to ask about other people's feelings. Your first answer had 3 changing lines, which might indicate there are different aspects to it - maybe the guy doesnt really know himself. But with a resulting 54 If I were you I wouldn't put my heart in this one. Again, with 22/13, sounds like a good reading for them - but again you are inquiring into someone's feelings for a third party who should have feelings of her own.

Your last question could be more useful for you in the moment. Sorry that Im not such a big help with 23, it always confuses me a bit. I ve had it in situations of Separation, of Distance between me and someone else, but also situations in which there were layers of understanding to peel off, like believes and premises to strip away. Like when u need to get rid of an idea that is not useful for you anymore.

Both your moving lines are warning you against these ideas or mistakes you might be incurring. Your loosing your support or your base due to some sort of restlessness or superficial approach, does this make any sense ? Is there a lot to this guy you still dont know ?

Yes, it makes sense. I have done a few readings in the past week and strangely almost all of them are different hexagrams changing to 64. What's the deal with 64? 64 is about not yet complete, yes? Kind of a wild card of sorts?

At any rate, for my reading "what do I need to know this time" 23.2.4. > 64... manifested in him asking for space which I gladly granted. 64 has me puzzled though. But nice not to have to think about this for awhile. Whew.
