Hello,

I know a Mr X who is a social aquaintince who is rude and makes fun of me everytime we meet. Ii doesn't make sense as it seems like he always makes it a point to single me out. I find it odd becoz we are not exactly friends for him to take that liberty and i never get teased as I'm not a child but a 30 something woman. Strange as it seems but i have this strange feeling that he likes me.....but his rude comments have been baffled as its completely uncalled for.....why would u hurt someone u hardly know??

So asked Yi how does Mr X see me? and it came back with 17 Following with changing lines 4.6 to 42 Increasing......I am completely lost.....what does this mean??

It does seem that you've attracted Mr. exalted X's attention. From your description of his behavior, these two lines together remind me very much of saying Five in my Tao Te Ching book:

Heaven and earth are ruthless;​

They see the ten thousand things as dummies.​

The wise are ruthless;​

They see people as dummies.​

What do you think?

aaw. I think he has a crush on you! Following to increase. He's keeping a flirty eye on you in the hopes that things will warm up (42). He is trying to communicate as best he can to gain your attention, and following the first thought that comes to him to interact with you!

Firstly thank you iamsgirl and yxeli for your useful input.... after reading your replies i followed up with a more direct question to Yi does X have a crush on me? and its comes back with 38.4 Opposing to Decreasing....i guess its telling me that we have opposing views but i shouldn't take his jibes so seriosuly which i do.....i can't quite understand what decreasing means though.....I'm still soo new at I Ching.....I'm stumbling my way through it....

Maybe he desires to break down his barriers (41) because, although his polarizing behavior has caused him to become isolated, he feels like "kin" with you (38.4)? Think it's a very likely yes X on the crush .
