So basically my ex just wants to be friends with me. I want to finally get over him. I asked :

Line 1 A lost horse returns of its own accord, contention in another is best examined within = remorse disappears
(i think this refers as let him go. Dont force the situation/dont force love)

Line 3 Wagon and oxen halted while one’s hair and nose are cut off = not a good beginning but a good end. Changes to (14) Great Possessing.

(Maybe this feels like a bad situation for me right now but its for the best)

Line 4 Isolated and alone one meets an associate = high risk but no blame. Changes to (41) Decrease
(i Will meet someone else if i let this go)

I take the second hexagram as working on myself because i feel like I've been living in the past recently.

I asked again to the iching for clarificación: What action should i take regarding to him to move on?

14.5.6>43

Line 5 Truth accessible and dignified = it is the character that attracts good fortune. Changes to (1) Creative
(being myself when taking to him and not being after him. I need to have dignity)

Line 6 You are blessed by heaven to receive what you need = great good fortune. Changes to (34) Great Power. Great Power means being
(i Will be guided to do this)

What do you think about my interpretation?

Perhaps 18. "Working on what has been spoiled" is also referencing his desire to shift your relationship from "lovers" to "friends". Certainly tricky to do that although I have several friends who are friends with their ex's and the new partners so I guess it can be done. 14.5.6>43 seems to me to be saying that you'll be able to move on more easily if you remember what was good about the relationship rather than trying to blame anyone for anything because it didn't last. Listen to upbeat music with positive lyrics like "It was Just One of Those Things."
I always recommend the movie Swingers to those trying to release the past. It'll walk you through the whole process and make you laugh!

Thank you Rosada! I didnt think about the 18 refering to the new state of the relationship. I hope I can finally let myself be present.
