How to react...12.1.6 to 17

Hello everyone,I am in a very complicated relationship right now. I asked YC "how should I react to XY currently ignoring me?".I got the answer 12.1.6 to 17.To me it seems quite obvious that there is some kind of blockage in our relation. I am willing to continue our relationship, so I suppose that blockage comes from the other side (or something that I am not aware of on my side!), or something/one outside of us. I would like some help in understanding what could 17 mean. Does YC advice me to be passive and forget about her?Or could it mean that I should just be patient and wait for the situation to change? Is there a potential in that relationship?I am total beginner in YC so I would appreciate some thoughts from other people to clear my own mind about it.Thanks!

If you don't mind sharing, how long have you been in this relationship? And can you tell us just a bit -- the broad strokes -- about what makes it complicated?

Freedda, we've known each other for few years, but have been in emotional relation for last 5 months, only platonic. There were some other people that would be hurt with us being together, and also she plans leaving our country to live abroad.
