How will things get better? 44uc

I am going through a really difficult time, and going through a bout of doubting God, and not having trust there. Lots of misunderstandings, no answers on this side of heaven, that sort of thing. And things not seeming to change anytime soon. It's not even a matter of "would I like to trust/believe in God?" because the thing about belief is that you can't make yourself believe something. I've been struggling, and I don't have a grip on this situation or my feelings about it.

How will things get better?

I already feel taken away by things, without a grip on things anymore. I can't see how being more taken away by things will help.

What is the consequence of my not trusting God having on this situation?

After giving your question more thought i deleted my previous post. Now I'm seeing 44 as a summation of the Chinese toast, "May you live in interesting times." this saying was considered a vailed curse because "Interesting times" means times filled with distractions - distractions that give us ADHD and the inability to stay focused. 44. depicts a temptation that can rob you of your ability to chart your own course. So...I see 44. is a message your ability to stay focused while traveling is being enhanced at this time. As you are opening up you are seeing new things, your world will improve as your ability to see what's out there in the world and not get magnetized/ sucked in by the siren call of things that are not your affair. . Let your prayer be, "Lead me not into temptation". If you don't trust your prayers will be heard right (your issue about not trusting God), maybe just remind yourself, "Not my circus. Not my monkeys"

44. I think things will improve for you as you strengthen your focus. Right now it seems you are drawn off your true course by distractions.Perhaps having things taken away from you is God's way of getting you to focus. You can align with this pattern more comfortably by choosing for yourself what to eliminate from your life that may be distracting you.

59. Saying you do not trust God is really you saying you do not trust you - that is, you do not trust your higher self which ultimately is one with all and this all is what we call God.. When you consult the I Ching you are consulting your Higher Self. By working with the I Ching you will come to know and trust your higher self and this will lead you to trusting God. 59. is the king in the temple. Perhaps by not trusting god/your ability to access higher consciousness you are missing out on accessing higher consciousness.
