Greetings.

I just wanted to share that I'm having a lot of fun with these I Ching cards I've made. I've written the Judgement and Image interpretations for each of the hexagrams on 64 blank playing cards (amazon.com). I've tried to memorize the I Ching in the past by making flashcards on 3 x 5 card stock but the paper didn't shuffle well, just didn't feel very inviting to the touch. Then I got a blank deck of cards made of playing card stock. They have a typical playing card pattern on the back but are blank on the front. I believe they were designed for people to make their own tarot cards. Anyway, the smooth slick surface shuffles well and is very inviting.

Having each of the hexagrams on a separate card is a big help in study. You can sort them into various piles (such as all the hexagrams that contain the same phrase) and layout interesting spreads (like Ashteroid's method).

Just wanted to encourage others who might have been considering making a similar deck that although a blank playing card deck costs more than 3 x 5 flashcards, I think it's worth the investment.

Thank you Rosada
I have some pictures that I got in a charity shop if the hexagrams. They are a bit odd but focus the mind when you shuffle and sort them

I think this is a lovely idea and helps cement the hexagrams in the mind.
I have hex 48 up at the moment. It is of a dark upended fish with a dark pool of water underneath. Not really the image I have but it is cooling in our present heatwave - 33 degrees outside my garden

I've taken up combining the cards with my regular tarot deck. I pick one I ching card and one tarot card. The tarot card picture seems to help focus the words of the I Ching.
